As promised, here is the thread: MY TOP 100 ANIME AND MY BEST GIRL OF EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM!

Two rules: 1) No independent anime movies (e.g. Koe no Katachi) but movies from a series are considered in the evaluation of that anime. 2) I will give reasons only if I feel like it.

Ok, let's start then!:

#100 Magic Knight Rayearth.

-Best Girl: Umi Ryuuzaki. Probably one of my first waifus as a little kid.

I loved this anime so much back then. A good part of my childhood QwQ The story is pretty cool as well with some really unexpected twists!

#99 Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai.

-Best Girl: Rizu Ogata. Probably the least popular of all the BokuBen girls but who cares! I still love her, more Rizu for me!

This anime could have been much higher in the list if not for its shitty ending but well, I still enjoyed it.

#98 Deadman Wonderland.

-Best Girl: Shiro. She is crazy but her soft side is pretty damn adorable. I love her design as well.

This anime has an interesting premise, a great first half but the second half is questionable and the ending is just bad. Still good enough to be here.

#97 Kaleido Star.

-Best Girl: Sora Naegino. Another one of my early waifus. At the beginning, I was more of a Layla or even Rosetta guy but Sora just won me over with her energy and determination <3

Kaleido Star will always have a special place in my heart. I love it so much <3

#96 Naruto/Naruto Shippuden.

-Best Girl: Hinata Hyuuga. Hinata was my main waifu for a long time. Love her design and shy but determined personality <3

I loved Naruto in high school but between the fillers and how bad the plot became after Pain, I just can't rank it any higher.

#95 Akame ga Kill.

-Best Girl: Esdeath. This was hard because I love Chelsea too but Esdeath is such a beauty, even when she is sadistic and brutal hahaha. Tatsumi was a lucky mf.

Akame ga Kill is very good... Until the ending ruins everything. The manga is much better though.

#94 Somali to Mori no Kamisama.

-Best Girl: Somali. Not too many choices in this show but it's not needed tbh. Somali is incredibly adorable and awakens my paternal instincts <3

This series, even with how simple it is, is so wholesome and beautiful that I had to include it ^w^

#93 Hensuki.

-Best Girl: Sayuki Tokihara. Yeah, I know there is a general trend here. I just... Her personality awakens sth inside of me and her design hits all the right spots.

Yes, it's a trashy series. And yes, I enjoyed it a lot. It totally deserves this spot! Fight me!!

#92 Mairimashita! Iruma-kun.

-Best Girl: Amelie Azazel. What can I say? Tall, beautiful, strong, smart, adorable, redhead... She is the full package!!! <3

This anime was really good but the Kirio arc was so long that it fell many spots in this ranking. Still enjoyable though!!

#91 Goblin Slayer.

-Best Girl: Guild Girl. Love her design, her personality, and her outfit! I think it suits her so well <3 Also, she being happy every time GS appears is adorable.

Even when it wasn't as dark as I thought, this anime was really fun! Death to all the goblins!

#90 Yesterday wo Utatte.

-Best Girl: Shinako Morinome. She is getting development little by little and I really like her ship with Rikuo.

The first of the airing anime to make the list. It probably will be placed higher when it finishes but for now, this is a good spot for it.

#89 Hisone to Maso-tan.

-Best Girl: Hisone Amakasu. I don't really have a best girl here but if I have to choose one, then it should be Hisone. I like her goofy personality XD

This a very weird but fun one. The ending is kind of all over the place but it's still pretty good!

#88 ID:Invaded.

-Best Girl: Koharu Hondoumachi. She is smart, strong, and she was key to expose the mysteries around the story. She is pretty cute as well.

This anime surprised me in a good way. However, the antagonist was really underwhelming and it has many plot holes.

#87 Mugen no Juunin: Immortal.

-Best Girl: Makie Otono-Tachibana. One of the most badass and strongest women I've seen in anime. I like her design as well!

This could have been an amazing anime... If it wasn't so rushed to the point of being really hard to understand at times.

#86 Rikei ga Koi ni Ochita no de Shoumei shitemita.

-Best Girl: Ayame Himuro. Probably one of the most beautiful girls on the entire list. Add that she is a scientist and completely adorable and you just have to love her <3

I loved this anime. Pretty funny and cute as well!

#85 Kanata no Astra.

-Best Girl: Yunhua Lu. She won me over. I liked her backstory and I have a weakness for shy girls. I prefer her with long hair though.

The plot of this anime was pretty good but I never really liked the characters. That's why it's so low on the list.

#84 Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!.

-Best Girl: Tooka Takanashi. I love her design SO MUCH. Like, omg, she is beautiful. Her personality is great as well. One of my favorites from the list without a doubt.

S1 of this anime made me love it but S2... Well, it was disappointing.

#83 Dragon Ball Z.

-Best Girl: Videl. Another one of my childhood waifus. I had a big crush on her. I don't really know why XD I like her more with long hair btw!

Yes, the famous DBZ! Probably the anime I've re-watched the most, mainly because they show it on TV all the time XD

#82 Carole & Tuesday.

-Best Girl: Tuesday. She is so cute, has the voice of an angel, and a lot of determination. She falls in love a little to easy though XD

I really like this anime and I love the main duo but it has a big problem imo: the political plot is pretty boring.

#81 Kakegurui.

-Best Girl: Yumeko Jabami. Oof, I love her design and her personality is weirdly charming. One of the few crazy girls that I find truly attractive.

S1 of this series was amazing. S2... Not so much, the ending was simply bad. I really love the manga though!

#80 Hataraku Saibou.

-Best Girl: Platelet. I was going to choose waifu material like Macrophages but Platelets are too cute to say no to them <3

As someone who studied a biology-related career and worked in immunology, this was a breath of fresh air. I even did cosplay of it!

#79 Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon.

-Best Girl: Quetzalcoatl. Do you remember when I said that a lot of my best girls had big boobs? Well, this is a good example ^^u

This anime is great and Kanna is incredibly adorable but there are certain things that I'm not really fond of.

#78 Gabriel DropOut.

-Best Girl: Vignette. Even being a demon, she is the closest to being a complete angel. She is really cute as well <3 It was hard for me not to choose Satania though...

This anime was a big surprise for me. I enjoyed it a lot and it was really funny!

#77 Another.

-Best Girl: Mei Misaki. I like her design, she can be pretty cute but it's not like she has a lot of competition in this anime XD

I liked the premise of this series a lot. It's not perfect but it was very fun and had a satisfactory ending as well.

#76 Highschool of the Dead.

-Best Girl: Saeko Busujima. Saeko is perfect: Great body, nice personality, and very reliable. There is nowhere safer than by her side <3

Yes, it's a trashy series but it's the BEST kind of trashy. Fun, tons of ecchi and some really iconic scenes XD

#75 Log Horizon.

-Best Girl: Akatsuki. She is just so cute <3 Strong and very loyal as well. She is the perfect party member!

For a long time, Log Horizon was my favorite isekai anime, as the good version of SAO. The 2nd Season though... It's the reason why it's not higher =/

#74 School Days.

-Best Girl: Kotonoha Katsura. Man, she is beautiful and had an amazing personality. She was the cutest and purest girl in the world... Until she met the piece of shit of Makoto. Poor girl...

Yep, the infamous School Days. I think it's a really good anime tbh!

#73 Honzuki no Gekokujou.

-Best Girl: Main (or Myne, whatever). Not much competition here. Main is great. I've loved her evolution and how much she has achieved in the story.

Another ongoing one but I think this is a good place for it. It's been really fun! Give me a S3! ><

#72 Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka?.

-Best Girl: Chino Kafuu. Isn't she one of the cutest girls ever? I could head pat her all day! *~* She is incredibly adorable. I want to hug her so badly! ><

This is one of my favorite "cute girls doing cute things" anime. I can't wait for S3!!

#71 Hataraku Maou-sama!

-Best Girl: Chiho Sasaki. I love how cheerful and energetic she is. I like her design a lot as well!

This anime was so good. The only real reason it's not higher in the list is that there is only one season and the story didn't advance that much.

#70 Soul Eater.

-Best Girl: Tsubaki. She is such a cute and calm girl. Her ability to change into different weapons makes her very interesting as well!

Soul Eater is a REALLY good story but after the anime stopped following the manga, it went down fast. It needs a re-make! ><

#69 Zombieland Saga.

-Best Girl: Saki Nikaidou. A cutie and a badass at the same time. I just love her personality! <3 Also, look at her smile! We need to protect her!

This series is a rollercoaster. The first two eps have some of my all-time favorite comedic moments tbh XD

#68 Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu.

-Best Girl: Mizuki Himeji. Shy and cute personality? Big boobs? Pink hair?? I'm in!! I had such a crush on her while watching this series hahaha.

The premise of this anime is so good and fun, like, my god! I want it to be a real thing hahaha!

#67 Shimoneta.

-Best Girl: Anna Nishikinomiya. Another of the club of crazy girls XD My god, she is such an angelic, righteous girl... Until she gets horny and becomes a beast. Top tier hahaha.

This anime is so great. Really funny and with an amazing number of dirty jokes XD

#66 Hayate no Gotoku!

-Best Girl: Hinagiku Katsura. I love Hinagiku so much. She was my #1 waifu at one point. Smart, beautiful, pink-haired, and a tsundere. She is so perfect! <3

One of my favorite series when I was at college. I loved it until it stopped adapting the manga XD

#65 Overlord.

-Best Girl: Shalltear Bloodfallen. Between her design and her voice, I fell for her immediately. Albedo was very close though.

Oof, Overlord is amazing. It's the only anime that made me read the LNs. The only problem is its S3 that Madhouse did without trying...

#64 Digimon Adventure.

-Best Girl: Mimi Tachikawa. This was a hard one because I don't really have a favorite but Mimi's design is the cutest imo.

This is the best season of Digimon BY FAR. The characters are likable and the story is pretty damn good, except the final villain.

#63 Saki.

-Best Girl: Hisa Takei. The strategist of the group. She is really smart and doesn't use any bullshit power in the games to win XD

I really like this anime a lot. It got me so excited I started playing mahjong because of it hahaha... Achiga-hen is garbage though.

#62 Ouran Koukou Host Club.

-Best Girl: Renge Houshakuji. I love her, she is so funny. Every time she appeared, we knew something good was about to happen XD Also:

Ouran is a fantastic anime. The only problem is that we didn't get a full adaptation...

#61 Little Witch Academia.

-Best Girl: Sucy Manbavaran. I just like her design and personality a lot. I wouldn't mind being a subject for her experiments~

This surprised me on many levels. The story is really good, I love the characters and it has a very satisfying ending.

#60 Lucky☆Star.

-Best Girl: Miyuki Takara. Another perfect waifu <3 She was one of my three pink-haired anime goddesses when I was in college hahaha.

Lucky Star is one of the anime I love the most. It's one of those series that you always remember with absolute fondness <3

#59 Shingeki no Kyojin.

-Best Girl: Krista Lenz. I don't really like her but she's the only one I find interesting in this series.

Before someone yells at me, I swear I did my best to put SnK higher but I couldn't. I sincerely think all the anime higher on the list are better.

#58 Slam Dunk.

-Best Girl: Ayako. I like her design and her playful personality. Not many choices in this series though XD

I grew watching Slam Dunk and I enjoy it every single time it's transmitted on TV. It's sad they didn't adapt the best arc of the manga though QwQ

#57 Cardcaptor Sakura.

-Best Girl: Sakura Kinomoto. My first anime crush when I was a kid. Cute, clumsy, and very cheerful. I liked Tomoyo a lot as well XD

Probably the first anime I watched completely. I watched it religiously every day at the same time. It's so good! QwQ

#56 Hamefura.

-Best Girl: Sophia Ascart. Not only she is absolutely beautiful, but she is also a great friend. The only one in Bakarina's harem who is ok with being friends XD

This anime took me by surprise. I thought I would absolutely hate it but then I absolutely loved it.
