The leaked Labour report fuelled allegations of anti-Black racism at the heart of the party. The lengthy doc revealed that party officials used a string of insults in private WhatsApp groups to describe senior Black MPs including Diane Abbott, Dawn Butler and Clive Lewis.
Add to this, growing concerns around lack of Black – not BAME – representation in the party....and many Black voters have been like 'nah'.

I'm pausing here. I'll be back shortly. But just a quick note to say that this piece is first and foremost about amplifying the concerns of Black voters, who feel that their views haven't been heard or needs met by Labour. Cool.
