- Lack of funding/opp in U.S. led him to Europe in 30’s
Today I’m featuring Roger Arliner Young.

- At Howard, Just was her mentor - he realized her talent + convinced her to switch her major from Music
- 1st Black woman to earn a PhD in Zoology
- Studied radiation impacts on sea urchin eggs
