Everyone Shut up.

I don't normally share my thoughts on important topics because I hate confrontation, but y'all have irritated me to the point of vocality.

Want to amplify black voices? Then listen to me. You better fucking share this.

This is going to be a long ass thread
First of all, this is not a fucking revolution. I've been planning for the revolution since middle school okay. We'll probably get there, but it is NOT right now.
RIGHT NOW is about police reform and police reform ONLY.
And we need to make that EXTREMELY clear
Here's how:
- keep doing your peaceful protests. They're fine.
- if you're white your ONLY job at these is to protect people of color. You are their white wall okay?
- Riots need to be more organized
- the things being destroyed NEEDS TO MAKE SENSE
- if you see anyone start fucking up ANYTHING else STOP THEM. Use force if you have to. They are either and infiltrator or an idiot.
- if journalists approach you tell them we want POLICE REFORM

Stop using this as a way to prove you're woke.
And obviously there are WAYYYY bigger problems afoot than just the police, but that is where we're starting okay?

Now change doesn't just come from protests. We need to get to the legislature. And to do that we need to organize.
We need a small group of people to champion the cause. A group of black people with a deep understanding of American politics.
There needs to be a writer and a public speaker in the group.

The group needs to also contain 1 white man 25+
This group will need money. And a shit ton of it. We will start donations and fundraisers and it wouldn't hurt if the 1 white man was wealthy.

The money is for lobbying.
Money is what runs this country until the revolution happens.
We will start in the grassroots. Buy off state legislature. Get things changed in just ONE state.

This will build traction. Raise more money and move on to another state. It will get easier as you go once we've proved change can be made
Eventually we will need to go to Washington. The election season will be over and hopefully things will be more democratic, but in the event they are not you need to find a way to convince politicians that they can make more money siding with us than police unions.
If anyone really wants change this is a loose plan for how to get there.
We're not going to get there just by doing the same things we've always done.

The protests and riots don't make change by themselves. They get attention to make change possible.
I know I don't have many followers. I'm not a very influential person, but I am a black person studying political science and I know what I'm talking about.
