it's not that Europe isn't racist a.f., it's that they've systemically avoided a situation (via racist immigration policy, among other things) where non-whites become enough of a fraction of the population that these problems have a chance to crop up so visibly
color is absolutely an issue in Europe, y'all have just perfected systemic racism to the point where your everyday European doesn't notice it happening
aside: I don't want to recenter the conversation on the (far less problematic) plight of people who look like me, but I want to note that have received far more weird stares and racist comments in Europe than ever in the US.
