They harvested bat viruses and brought them to the lab in Wuhan–over 400 miles away–where those bats don't live.

Then virologists sampled the collected coronaviruses and tested them for human spread.

2/ And they found some with the spike protein that binds the ACE2 receptor in humans–like the current coronavirus does.

5/ It's interesting that stricter guidance for lab testing of dangerous pathogens that could result in pandemics came out on January 9, 2017, just 11 days before President Trump took office.

6/ Dr. Fauci didn't seem to care very much about stricter rules.

These rules, and ones before them, "never interfered in any way" with anything he found "scientifically important."

7/ If this entire crisis was created by...

1. Obama funding dangerous experiments in China

2. Dr. Fauci not adequately supervising groups receiving millions of dollars in grants

AND

3. False attribution in the response, by blaming a wet market

They'll ALL look stupid.

8/ This research was both dangerous AND unnecessary, as the danger involved (transporting samples and testing them using human-mouse hybrids) grossly outweighed the benefits of leaving the bats in isolated caves.
