Thread #2 looking into the best way to do start-up drafts so all draft slots have equal value. If you want to see my first thread it is below. In this thread, I will look into using rookie draft order to make all start-up draft slots equal value.

I will go through the value for 1.01 and 1.12 start-up draft slots using DTC's start-up feature to see if a linear rookie draft with reverse order of the start-up or a snake rookie draft with reverse order of the start-up is ways to equal out value..
Here are the normal snake draft for 6 Rounds (Get=1.01) (Recieve=1.12) Settings are SF, PPR,12 team league. 1.01 has a sizeable increase in value over 1.12 (equal to a mid 2021 1st)
League settings are 12 team, SF DL. I will begin by comparing the 1.01 (give) and 1.12 (receive) start-up pick values with a linear rookie draft (reverse order to start-up). By doing the rookie draft linear, the 1.12 has more value than the 1.01 pick (equal to a late 2021 1st)
Now, I will compare the 1.01 and 1.12 with a snake rookie draft. The value is closer, but still gives the 1.01 the advantage. (equal to an early 2021 2nd).
Lastly, we are going to look at doing a 3rd round reversal (3RR) and a snake rookie draft. 3RR gives 1.12 the 1.12, 2.01, and 3.01 then snakes after that pick. This way also does not provide a perfectly equal system and gives the 1.12 an advantage (equal to a 2021 early 2nd)
If you want to have rookies drafted completely separate from your start-up (includes not drafting rookie picks in the start-up), I recommend doing the rookie draft as a snake draft with the order reverse of the start-up because it had the closest value between picks.
I find drafting rookie picks or rookies in the start-up to be the most fun. If you agree, I recommend doing a 3rd round reversal or Bonsai reversal listed in the other thread tagged above.
