Thread on Aaron Hickey:

Hickey is a 17 y/o Scottish LB for Hearts in the Scottish Premiership.
The league has been suspended due to COVID-19 & Hearts finished bottom, thus being relegated. Their manager is Daniel Stendel who played in the Bundesliga & even scored against Bayern.
Köhn is leaving Bayern for Willem II, so Bayern need a new LB for Bayern II.

And because Hearts have been relegated, his contract running out in 2021 & the coronavirus, Hickey should probably be available for under €3m.
Certainly playing in the 3. Liga in Germany (3rd tier) with a chance to play for Bayern is more appealing than playing in the Scottish Championship (2nd tier in Scotland).

He also already knows Liam Morrison, who is a Bayern youth player, from the Scottish youth national teams.
Recently there have been quite a few decent Scottish LBs, most notably Robertson & Tierney, Hickey could be the next in line.

He's incredibly two-footed & that's why he's equally capable at LB & RB. He also is very good on the ball, having been a midfielder & striker growing up.
Whilst being able to run up & down the flanks, he's at his best when coming infield & playing as an additional midfielder, reminiscent of how Pep used Alaba & Lahm or Arteta uses Maitland-Niles and despite his slight frame he wins more than 60% of his duels & is a decent tackler.
His biggest strength is his passing.
Hearts aren’t a possession-heavy side, but Hickey still attempts more than 30 passes per match, sometimes more than any of his teammates.
He is also decent going forward, especially because he is able to cross with both feet & has good vision.
Because the quality of his team is low (Donis Avdijaj plays there), his passing accuracy varies quite a lot & he "only" has 1 goal & 1 assist in 22 games. And even though he isn't a speed-demon, he covers a lot of ground & manages around 2 dribbles p90, completing most of them.
Final thoughts: he has a pretty high ceiling, although I am not sure if I can see him developing into an undisputed starter at Bayern (he probably won't be the next Davies).

But because of his versatility, price & it being a pretty low risk deal, Bayern really should sign him.
