The other day @TessFowler and I were talking about Star Wars and who we identified with. I told her I really didn't identify with any of the good guys. Not because I didn't like them but when I played star wars with other kids I was told I didn't look like Luke or Han.
So when I saw Boba Fett I was like he's cool. Neat armor, gets the job done, and he has a helmet I can be him. But at an early age, without knowing it I was not represented. I didn't feel represented till we got Poe and cassian I know we got Jimmy Smits in ep 2-3 but he was no..
Jedi, bounty hunter, smuggler etc. It really wasn't till The Mandalorian I felt a big connection with star wars. I was like wow hes like me, he's latino! I've loved star wars since I was 6 but this is the first time watching it and I finally feel I have a character...
I can really connect with. So thank you @dave_filoni and @Jon_Favreau for bringing this amazing story to life and making me feel like a kid again.
