I’ve noticed an increased push for HS grads to consider CC if 4-year institutions remain online in the Fall. Students can usually transfer credits as general electives, but using transfer credits for major/specific requirements isn’t always possible, so please do your research!

Research is especially important if students wants to make sure that their credits will transfer in a certain way to a specific 4-year institution. I recommend that students have a clear transfer plan and contact admissions and academic programs at the 4-year for guidance.
