I'd like to spend a moment highlighting some of my favorite books by trans people. Here's a thread of the books you should read, buy and share:
@GwenBenaway's books are incredible works of poetry that always resonate deeply with me. Her latest, Day/Break, is a must-read for any trans women / transfem (and everyone else!) about transmisogny and violence in our lives, and the realities, joys and difficulties of love.
@razorfemme's Fierce Femmes & Notorious Liars will ALWAYS be top of my list - 1st book I read after I came out. Nerve-Endings by @Tobitastic is the first trans erotic I ever read and is one of the best pieces of work for trans women and trans folks in general exploring their sexuality in a world that pathologizes and hypersexualizes us. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/34322584-nerve-endings
