I think I'm going to review every #WWERAW

Guest Host ever because I hate myself and have way too much time on my hands... (a thread)

Starting off hot w/ Big Dave! His arm is injured (Kayfabe attack by Legacy, real life bicep tear) so he wears a funny brace. Doesn't really do anything of note besides book a boring #1 contender's tournament & fuck w/ Randy. Overall a pretty uneventful start.

Million Dollar Man! Everyone thinks he's going to make life super easy for Legacy (since his son is in it) but he ends up kind of motherfucking them. Nothing revolutionary but he plays the role well. Would make a great authority figure anywhere.

Seth Green does a solid job. Appears in more segments than most which gives the impression he has an appreciation for wrestling. Surprisingly good chemistry w/ most of the superstars. Him wrestling is dumb but whatcha gonna do? This was a pleasant surprise.

ZZ Top! They spend most of the night vibing w/ Santino backstage. Every segment ends w/ them awkwardly segueing into one of their hits. Not a lot to say about these lads; They're not heinous but they're certainly not great. More boring than anything. Cool whip.

Shaq is fine. He’s pretty charismatic on the mic & his showdown w/ Show is enjoyable enough in a “Teehee, 2 big men make my serotonin go weeeeeeee!” kinda way. Does quite a few segments. Perfectly OK.

Piven is my guilty pleasure. He’s not very good but he’s so earnest! He doesn’t get it but he’s really trying. Ken Jeong is w/ him and it’s obvious that: 1) He’s coked tf out. And 2) The announcers have no idea who he is. He could ban me from the Summerfest any day!

Sarge doesn’t do a lot but all his bits are pretty funny. He inexplicably hosts in Canada & they take full advantage of that irony. At one point he teases Bret Hart coming out, even playing his music. Hacksaw Duggan comes out instead & I legit LOL’d.

Freddie Prinze Jr. is great! His love for wrestling really shines through. Unlike most Hollywood stars, he doesn’t ham it up/overcompensate. He understands that his acting chops can serve the GM role. Dude takes a solid bump too!

Man, Floyd Mayweather kinda sucks. Big surprise too, as his WrestleMania match is one of the few celebrity matches that's actually pretty good. He does 1 in ring segment & 1 backstage segment which are both painfully boring. Feels like he wants to be anywhere else.

Dusty is awesome, which should come as no surprise. Does the same shtick as Million Dollar Man where he gives his son a match against Orton but Cody is into it! Some fun backstage segments w/ him and DX promoting a DVD as well.

Bob Barker is magnificent!

His gentle wit contrasts w/ WWE’s hyper masculinity beautifully. Does more segments than anyone else so far, by a landslide: So fucking funny! The very best host thus far. Breaks our star system.

Trish is OK. She wrestles a match (technically 2) which is pretty cool but does little else. Never realized just how bad she was on the mic. On an unrelated note, her

Cedric is decent. He does quite a bit (including wrestle), seems to be a fan or at least decently familiar and can be quite funny. His show opening segment goes on way too fucking long but other than that nothing to write home or complain about tbh.

Reverend Al is just awful. Doesn't get the vibe of pro wrestling at all. Crowd hates him for some reason. You can tell he either didn't want to play ball or they were scared of pissing him off so they never capitalize on how strange a choice he is. Dude does jack.

Big Ben surprised me! Really charismatic on the stick and he does a ton of segments, as many as I’ve seen any guest host do thus far. Uses the Monday Night Football theme which is cool. His offensive line all doing the crotch chop w/ pyro got me way too pumped.

Nancy O’Dell is aight. Not atrocious by any means but kinda boring and definitely overshadowed by the far more charismatic, far more WWE oriented Maria Menounos who serves as her “correspondent”... Just excruciatingly mediocre.

Snoop is fun! You can definitely tell he knows/cares about wrestling more than most. That being said, he doesn't do anything particularly interesting. The segment where they play on his love of weed is hilarious tho.

These NASCAR boys suck eggs. Their acting is painfully bad. “So bad it’s good” at first but they overstay their welcome. Way too many segments for how piss poor they were. Charisma vacuums... Yuck!

Ozzy & Sharon! I’ll always have a soft spot for these 2 for obvious reasons. Ozzy’s kinda out of it but it works. They do a ton and even though it’s all corny you can tell they’re having a ball! They play “Crazy Train” too much but are otherwise a delight.

Ricky Hatton is really bad. He has no stage presence whatsoever. Cuts a promo like a golf commentator! Seems wicked nervous and awkward in every segment. Buried Chavo which you always hate to see. Total dorkchop.

Hot Rod is a delight! Water’s also wet. I just can’t stop smiling while watching his promos. His fakeout gimmick w/ Vince is fun. Just wonderful. He would’ve made a great regular authority figure.

Jesse is chuffing excellent! I forgot just how great he was on the stick. I was floored at the sheer amount of segments he did. Knocked every one out of the park. Doesn't feel like a "guest" at all. My favorite host so far. Breaks our star system again!

Verne is tough bc I really like him and I get a kick out of seeing him in the WWE world; But he seems to be really nervous/uncomfortable the whole time. Surprising lack of stage presence for an actor. Feels like they could’ve done much more with him.

Mark Cuban was fucking awesome. Such a pleasant surprise! Dude is so overexcited but it’s only bc you can tell he genuinely loves wrestling. Opens the show, closes the show, refs a match, takes a table bump! Does it all enthusiastically. So great.

Hated Dennis Miller at first but he sort of grew on me a little? His dry political humor does not work in wrestling AT ALL but he eventually realizes that. Hosts the whole 3 hour show but he’s just not a good fit & you get the sense he doesn’t really wanna be there.

Johnny Damon is fine. Not great but totally inoffensive. Bad actor but enthusiastic. The crowd hated him bc I guess he played for their rival at the time? He does a lot of segments w/ various legends dressed as Santa.

Timbaland sucks so bad. He legit seems high off his ass and you get the sense he’d rather be anywhere else. All of his segments fall flat. Barely any stage presence. So corny. Awful fit.

Bret is hard to judge bc I dig what they did with him but he doesn't really host. Just has storyline driven segments which are fun but impossible to compare. Middle of the road rating by default.
