The visual for Black Eyed Peas' latest song ft. Ozuna and J. Rey Soul is basically a 04:13 min-long ad for Gucci.

All the artists are exclusively wearing outfits from the brand.

Product placement isn't new in music videos but I haven't seen many with a brand embedded throughout
Music has become a much bigger ad channel in recent years with more brands partnering with popular singers, doing product placement, creating Spotify playlists, etc.

For brands like Gucci, keen to appeal to a younger audience, it can definitely help shift brand perception.
I wonder if the next step will be investing in original music creation and music video production. Especially for lifestyle/fashion brands.

Desigual ventured into that space in 2016 to showcase some of their collections but nothing else since.
