hello this is just a reminder that 18+/adult content creators deserve the same level of protection from minors, as minors do from viewing 18+ content. that's worded weird but. thread
I'm sick and tired of people treating 18+ content creators as monsters for leaving their stuff visible to minors. we do what we can to put filters in place while still keeping our accounts public, for business reasons. it isnt our fault if minors choose to ignore these filters.
it's not our fault minors are CHOOSING to lie about their age in order to see our content. Minors who think they should have the right to see 18+ content are actively crossing the boundaries of the creators who make it. we dont want them. they are invading OUR space.
Not all 18+ content belongs on porn-oriented sites. some of us create tasteful erotica and artistic nudes. do we deserve to be banished to porn spaces for this reason? (this is not to say porn is lesser in any way, it is just different and also deserving of respect.)
I dont want minors interacting with my erotic work. I find it incredibly anxiety inducing to consider the trouble I might get in because some child thought they should have the right to use my erotic art in any way and ignored my request that they do not interact.
a message to minors who may be following this (or any other 18+) account: this is not your space. this is our space to create things that make us happy. it makes us feel unsafe that you're here at this age. come back when you're 18, we will still be here.
small addendum: I dont care if u turn 18 next month. I dont care if the age of consent where you live is 16. where I live and create MY content, you're legally not an adult until you are 18, so as far as I'm concerned anyone under that age is still a child. please respect this.
