In August of 1997, just a few days before her untimely death, Diana, Princess of Wales visited Bosnia, which had been devastated by war in 1994. The visit was part of her larger scale work on getting landmines banned all over the world 🙏🏻

Princess Diana was truly a pioneer in humanitarian work and it makes me sad thinking about what more she could’ve achieved had it not been for her untimely passing 🖤
