2. Poldermans should have been easier to deal with than Covid-19. It just needed journals, medical authorities, institutions, etc to take appropriate action. Their failure led to unnecessary deaths.

3. Peter also mentioned the Macchiarini case. As with Poldermans, his abuse of patients was only possible because of the failure of others to act.
