So it looks like I chose a good day to kick off my "Wear every DCFC kit that I own" twitter series. There's a lot of (late breaking, and troubling) news about @DetroitCityFC's 2020 season, so to cheer you up here is the 2012 home kit! I'll post a new one daily (in order) #DCTID
Today we have the 2013 DCFC Home Kit. Notice there’s still no sponsor printed across the front. I believe that’s because each player was still individually sponsored like the 2012 season so they each had a different logo, but you know how memory goes when you’re old!

Our rainy, super duper tired, Wed kit is the 2013 DCFC Away. This was my preferred 2013 kit, as I like the high contrast between rouge and white. Also, there won’t be a post for the 2013 DigiCam Charity kit, as it’s the only one I’m missing.

Our Thursday kit is the 2014 DCFC Charity kit, the only kit officially released in 2014 due to some nonsense with Nike...the proceeds from this kit went to @REC_Detroit (a super awesome charity)! This is easily my favorite DCFC kit of all time!

Following our tradition of shouting out some great charities today we have the 2016 DCFC Charity Kit in support of @FreedomHouseDet! This was, and still is, the only neon kit we’ve released! It’s borderline glow in the dark. This picture was taken in near pitch black

Now THIS gets interesting. The 2017 DCFC Away Kit introduces a subtle “collar” detail that’s been lovingly referred to as a “choker” (it gets a little chokey), and as you can tell by the pic is a LOT slimmer. Yesterday’s was a Medium and this is a Large but is still tight. #DCTID

On this wonderful Mother’s Day we have our final kit of 2017. This was a throwback to the 1967 Detroit Cougars, and a commemorative kit for our international friendly with @Glentoran! This was an INCREDIBLE match with so much love between both sides. I’ll never forget it! #DCTID
Starting out 2018’s kit choices we have the 2018 DCFC Home Kit! The design of the choker changed, and with this kit #chokergate officially ended! We also saw the introduction of vertical stripes (or are they vertical hoops? ), which are pretty sweet! #DCTID

Time for the 2018 DCFC Charity Kit whose proceeds went to the awesome charity @UCHC_Detroit! I really really like this kit, but had some issues with the Lyft logo (poor screen printing) on my first one, so this is the replacement. Still love it, just don’t wear often #DCTID

So we’re down to our final two (released) DCFC kits! Tonight we have the 2019 DCFC Long Sleeve Away Kit. I love the change in design (it’s not just a white version of the rouge long sleeve), and it’s so well executed. #DCTID
