Jon Stewart may have weeped, "you're hurting us" at Tucker, but it's largely the fault of the Jon Stewart-era Daily Show that people are primed to believe That's My Bush-level stories about Trump telling people to eat tide pods.
Most dems can't at first accept that W. Bush had higher measured intelligence scores than Kerry. Why? Because Kerry is a jigolo and sorta looks and acts prestigious, so you figure he should be smarter.
