My garden for now is mostly in containers. I grow perennials and annuals in them. But I’m very excited to start #MyMostlyContainerGarden2020 thread! Obvi, feel free to mute if plants are not your bag. Starting with primula vulgaris “Belarina Amethyst Ice” from @Plant_Delights
Not in a container, but who doesn’t love some dicentra?
Muscari ‘Valerie Finnis,’ love the color
A trillium, and I think its wine-dark flowers and variegated leaves are drop dead chic.
Euphorbia ascot rainbow in bloom. I’m always weak in the knees for chartreuse flowers, but I like this plant even better in the fall, after the blooms are gone, and the foliage reddens.
Pulmonaria is a possibly a top ten perennial for me.
Columbine is blooming!

In related news I realized today that I have sixty (60) plant containers. Which is slightly bananas, maybe.
Drop of water on a lupine leaf
It’s peony week!
Campanula poscharskyana is one of my favorite perennial spillers. Who doesn’t love blue-ish starry flowers, plus it can handle dry shade and is evergreen. Unlike other campanula, doesn’t totally melt in mid-Atlantic US heat and humidity.
The annuals are popping!
More annuals (and a short-lived perennial)!
