Very pleased that a one-shot #dnd game has turned into a regular game. I’m basically playing Rayla from @thedragonprince and we’re on a high seas adventure! Thanks to @punkjr @kelly_knox @BiancaBickford @RageKagexRugger!
In yesterday’s game my assassin Luna set fire to the sail of a goblin pirate ship then used kitchen grease to also light up one of the boarding planks. All in all we were making short work of them before we had to pause until next week. 🏴‍☠️ 🔥
In today's #dnd game, our gunslinger Sister Hawk implanted the earworm "What Is Love" as my assassin Luna snuck downstairs to capture a pirate captain. Very fitting lyrics for the boss: 🎶 Baby, don't hurt me. 🎶
We, um, forgot about the goblin boss tied up on the sinking ship when we took off with a lockbox. Cut to us on an island realizing this and our DM rolling to see if he escaped the bonds (yes) then survived the shark infested waters (no). Oops!
In today's #dnd game, DM @punkjr did not realize I am terrified of talking monkeys on account of Planet of the Apes but somehow the talking 4-foot spider monkey was okay. Maybe because I'm trying not to really visualize it. 🙈
My rogue was rolling pretty poorly with SO many different d20s until I brought out this @norsefoundry big boi. It was noted by the group that my dice set (in background) from The Countess who I played on @AdvntrTheyWrote is, in fact, stored in a pill case because she's elderly.
We also established that Otto (storm sorcerer kenku) establishes a "message" connection with this birdcall:
In today's #dnd game, we went to a fight with the BBEG and, um, used words to accidentally end the adventure an hour early. 🤣
Oh and because @christulach just played “What Is Love”, I remembered to tweet about this cliffhanger: remember the goblin boss who we accidentally left tied up on his sinking ship? He was waiting for us on the beach. Oops.
In today's #dnd game, the goblin boss Captain Zaarx (who we accidentally left on his sinking ship) joined the crew. He also had a harpy talon magic compass that could lead us to an island but couldn't answer if it was ethically sourced or taken off a live harpy.
Picked up our #dnd game after over a month of scheduling conflicts.
While appraising art in a sorcerer’s tower we were attacked by painting mimics. Afterwards Luna evaluated their worth as 0 gp.
