Robben left citing the fact that he felt he was being played less couldn’t get his rhythm so asked to leave

Out of all the seasons the best balance we had of wingers was the Robben & Duff first season

Then our balance with only 3 wingers was good, everyone got enough chance to shine

When Sane was playing for City, Mahrez didn’t get game time it was B.Silva, Sterling & Sane as the 3

Now with Sane injured their 3 is Mahrez, B.Silva & Sterling

4 wingers is overkill

It’ll be bound to cause one to want to leave and sometimes it might be one of the ones you don’t want to go

& if you split the time up between the 4 they’ll all have less consistency for impact

Robben & Mata only had 3 seasons at the club & then with options taking their game time down they left

KdB & Salah barely got on the pitch

Why?? Too many options

Too many options already dis railed Lampard this season in midfield

It’s healthy for the squad to know their role in the team

It’s unhealthy having 5 options for 2 positions where all 5 options want or are used to playing most games

None of this is to say Chelsea shouldn’t buy Sancho

But if they do

They need to loan or sell one of Pulisic or Hudson imo

City have Sterling, Sane, Mahrez & Bernardo

Well Sane has left City because of not getting enough game time

& boy could they use a Sane right now.
