How to build a fat and quality list of potential clients..

Targeting the right clients improves the performance of your cold emails..

Here's how you can build that list.

—THREAD—
First things first.

By now you should have a niche.

If you haven't picked one yet, I suggest you read this thread on the topic https://twitter.com/profitdrenched/status/1243078474266484736?s=19
STEP 1 - Identify lead pools.

A lead pool or lead bucket is any website or web page from where you can source potential clients.

Ex: a blog post like "top 30 restaurants in Miami"
Simply Google keywords like:

"Best {niche} in {location}"
"{Niche} directory"
etc.

Can work for any niche but sometimes, you have to be creative with it.

Ex: "best medical spas in Boston"
STEP 2 - Identify decision makers.

You're unlikely to succeed with cold email by contacting a company's generic email address ([email protected], etc.)

The person within a company who has the authority to hire you is the decision maker.
Depending on your service and the size of the company you're pitching, the CEO might not be the best person to cold email.

Sometimes it's better to target the
- CMO/Director of Marketing
- COO
etc.

Use your intuition to figure this out.
