Serious quarantine question...

Do you wear deodorant when you are just staying in the house?
Reviewing @necessaire’s natural deodorant later today!

I actually really loved it, so I’m excited to share my thoughts on the formula, as well as it’s effectiveness.
#DidYouKnow your sweat smells different (aka mustier) when you are stressed, verses when you overheat? 😓 🦠

[Un]fortunately, my anxiety makes me *keenly* aware of this, so I’m pretty much an expert on deodorants 🧼 (not literally an expert, NaiHaters, relax 😂).

Let’s chat✨
I’ve tried A LOT, so I’m excited to share a new one that I LOVE, @Necessaire’s newest product: The Deodorant [ http://bit.ly/33sgYNN  ]

This thread is #sponsored, but all thoughts, comments, words, opinions, photos, ideas, etc, are from my own special brain. ☺️🧠
This deodorant is really impressive. No aluminum, no baking soda. AND. IT WORKS. Against odor AND sweat. Yes!

Of course the first thing that excites me about any @Necessaire product is the ingredients. They NAIL the ingredients every time, I swear.
The Deodorant uses supperrrr gentle skincare acids, lactic & mandelic acid, to neutralize odors at a pH of 3.5-4.5, where bacteria can’t thrive.

(Using exfoliating acids as deodorant is something a few beauty/skincare enthusiasts have been mulling about for a couple years.)
The lactic and mandelic acids aren’t enough to exfoliate but they *might* aid in brightening over time.

I’m saying MIGHT (very strong might) because Necessaire doesn’t market it this way, but it’s just a hypothesis I have.
The Deodorant also uses kaolin clay, silica & zinc to absorb moisture, so it keeps your underarms dry, but doesn’t prevent sweating!

(SMART AF)

I loveee that they utilized the absorbency of clay & drying effect of silica and zinc like this.
I’m not a fan of the way aluminum blocks sweat glands in traditional antiperspirants.

There is no scientific link to a breast cancer risk (none) BUT using aluminum as an antiperspirant is often an skin irritant, contributing to dark underarms.
The texture is creamy, then dries down to a powdery finish. It took me a little while to learn how much product I needed.
At first, I was applying way too much but after 2 days I got the hang of it.

Less is probably better, bc it will dry down into that powder finish quicker.
The first time I used @necessaire’s The Deodorant, I hadn’t showered for 24 hours, and I was on my way to the gym. I wanted to test it FOR REAL for real. No detox. No nothing. 😂

& it worked!!

Did my lil’ 30 minute cardio — still no smell AND (mostly) dry pits.
Right now @necessaire only has The Deodorant in Eucalyptus scent (which I prefer) but if you’re anti-fragrance/essential oils, a fragrance-free option is coming soon!
