Coz apparently most people on here are feeding on Cinematic version of story that was about "Harry potter" which is Harry potter series

The major reason why one would pick snape is mainly based on the movie as he was portrayed as
Focused
No nonsense dark art teacher who doesn't give shit about your feelings

Infact Snape that many know in d movie was a result of rejected love from (harry potter's mother(Lily) and bullying from Sirius black and James potter coz he was half blood
Snape's attitude was just a facade and deep down he was just a product of circumstance I.e bullying

And he was a double agent...who didn't want voldermort to know about his double loyalty (because him killing dumbledore was to score loyalty point...u know why? Dumbledore agreed in bargain for Snape to kill him so that voldermort wouldn't detect him coz I see people using that

as one of his powers)
Hence the "hard guy image"

Little fact: Sirius black is a pure blood and Slytherin by birth and family line but he doesn't buy his family's ideology of purity in wizarding world
Hence why he defied them and joined Gryffindor

So , on that fact...best believe that Sirius has a gene of not having a moral compass in him wen necessary

Somebody that spent 12 years in azkaban for a crime he didn't commit and didn't lose his sanity
