I’ve been helping money managers since ’97, so I’ve been asked what I look for in a stock. Here’s the methodology I use to:
•"Fish in the right pond" by spotting changes in sector + industry leadership.
•Discover new individual #stocks.
•Know when to buy, sell, or watch.

I score >1,600 stocks weekly based on 7 factors.
No. 1 = Earnings growth: #Stocks follow earnings over time, so comparing future EPS expectations to current EPS expectations and rewarding/punishing stocks accordingly is key.
3/10
No. 2 = Earnings beats: Under-promising and over-delivering isn't just good advice from our parents. It's also key to navigating investor sentiment. Our model evaluates each company’s earnings track record to find #stocks that consistently exceed expectations.

No. 3 = Insider buying: There's lots of reasons why insiders sell shares, but only one for why they buy them.
5/10
No. 4 = Money flow: Objects in motion (up AND down) tend to stay in motion and that's especially true for motion that's accompanied by significant volume.
6/10
No. 5 = Short interest: If earnings are growing, management’s over-delivering, insiders are buying, and money flow is positive, there's a good chance that short sellers are on the wrong side. If short interest is high, then I give the stock a thumbs up.

No. 6 = Valuation: Cheap is relative. And the best, cheap #stocks are those with the characteristics I've already outlined AND a future price to earnings ratio that's not far from its 5-year P/E low.
8/10
No. 7 = Seasonality: History often rhymes and when it does, #investors can profit handsomely. I evaluate 10-year calendar quarter seasonality for major market and sector ETFs and every stock in our universe to see if tailwinds or headwinds could be on the horizon.

I call this methodology “Power 7”. It’s the basis for the color-coded ADR, large, mid, and small cap reports I send to members weekly. They're designed for action-oriented investors wanting a continuous stream of money-making ideas. Sectors? ✔️ Industries? ✔️ Stock picks? ✔️
