I'll now kick-start a thread on the physical human types of the subcontinent, as anthropometry is a subject that has long fascinated me. In this thread, I'll stick to celebrities & public figures. If I need to classify any non-celeb or non-public personality, it'll be elsewhere.
https://twitter.com/SrBachchan/status/1230572464788385792

À tout seigneur, tout honneur - nous commençons par le plus grand des grands, the Big B. Phenotypically, he's essentially a NordIndid.
https://twitter.com/itsKajolD/status/1219260103683137538

Kajol, the most talented female thespian of her generation insofar as the Mumbai film industry goes. Here, we see a predominantly Indo-Brachid specimen, likely with an alpine strain, all of it superimposed on a substratum that is possibly subtly Veddoid.
https://twitter.com/FilmHistoryPic/status/1188398415228624898

Jaya Prada has a classic Gracile Indid look, or had in her younger days. Many people put on facial fat as they age, and this is why individuals in their twenties through forties are most suited for classification purposes. In this case, it's an easy one.
https://twitter.com/ajaydevgn/status/1218511067405377536

Ajay Devgn is primarily NordIndid (his long skull makes this choice inevitable) but with obvious Veddoid/Weddid admixture.
https://twitter.com/iamjohnylever/status/1172080108825272320

Johnny Lever has a practically entirely non-Europoid appearance. Phenotypically, he's strongly Veddid, while insofar as subtypes are concerned, Gondid appears to be the best fit. There is quite likely a marginal Indo-Brachid element there as well, though.
https://twitter.com/Officialneha/status/1232888591711232000

Basically a pretty Gracile Indid, yet with a slight Mongoloid influence.
https://twitter.com/BSonarika/status/1105864689903390723

The gorgeous Sonarika Bhadoria is classically Bollywoodoid in morphology. By that, I mean to say that she's very strongly Indid. She's a NordIndid with a little bit of Brachid, to be precise. Not at all uncommon for north-central Indian Rajputs.
https://twitter.com/Esha_Deol/status/1229364115560370176

Esha Deol is a beautiful NordIndid, with some East Alpinid/Asiatic Alpine influence, quite likely.
https://twitter.com/FilmHistoryPic/status/1231971152807038976

The legendary Danny Denzongpa, who hails from Sikkim, is perhaps the only famous showbiz personage in India of unambiguous Oriental appearance. He's an Indo-Mongoloid, or a South Mongolid mixed with Indid (probably Mountain Indid / gracialised NordIndid).
https://twitter.com/ZeeNews/status/741570803750178818

Naseeruddin Shah's looks are way closer to West Asian than subcontinental, and indeed, I would classify him as an Arabid/Armenoid mix, with some Indid. He frankly looks more MENA than Indian.
https://twitter.com/MadhuriDixit/status/1227965954757480448

The stunning Madhuri Dixit-Nene is more Gracile Indid than anything, but visibly influenced by other Indid varieties. As far as I can see, she's a slightly Nordicised Gracile Indid.
https://twitter.com/deepikapadukone/status/1052896512286621696

Indo-Melanid, with strong predominance of Gracile Indid, yet clearly mixed with a subtle non-Europoid element which can only be Weddid in her case, given that she's from coastal south Karnataka. Mostly Indid, that said.
https://twitter.com/DMmovies/status/1232538680864231424

Aamir Khan's physique shows him to be primarily Iranid/Irano-Afghan with Pamirid admixture, along with a trace of Indid. Looks mostly non-Indian.
https://twitter.com/thesushmitasen/status/1234838100708184064

Ms Sen is a blend of Indo Brachid and Gracile Indid, but I equally spot a trace of Weddid there. On the whole, pretty Bollywoodoid in morphology.
https://twitter.com/FilmHistoryPic/status/1035884273092448256

The late Sadhanaji was just a very, very pretty Gracile Indid, somewhat fairer-complexioned than the average Gracile, however.
https://twitter.com/ShashiTharoor/status/1233438818474319872

Shashi Tharoor is basically Indo Brachid, but with NordIndid influence, given his height and relative facial robustness. He may be a moderately atypical Keralid, a phenotype that is, on the whole, rather more Nordiform. I see no visible hint of Veddoid.
https://twitter.com/MamataOfficial/status/1216217765159325697

Palaeo-Mongolid/South Mongolid + Veddoid + Indo Brachid - Mamata Banerjee is quite a mix. Very unusual morphology for a Brahmin, even a Bengali one.
https://twitter.com/Pvsindhu1/status/1075300960686235649

Basically, Indo-Melanid, or Gracile Indid + Veddoid. I like this girl a lot.
https://twitter.com/PaulJamesOakley/status/1235709173100408832?s=20

To my eyes, Priti Patel is phenotypically a meld of three distinct morphologies: Indo Brachid, Gracile Indid and Cromagnoid. Definitely good-looking.
https://twitter.com/RishiSunak/status/1230523993054203904

Britain's new Chancellor of the Exchequer displays a quite unusual phenotype for an ethnic Indian. My classification of him, on the basis of his physique, and not just the face, is thus - Cro-magnoid & Gracile Indid.
https://twitter.com/ZuluPanther/status/1072457860708225025

The durAtmA was, as far as I see, mainly Veddoid, with some Gracile Indid.
https://twitter.com/FilmHistoryPic/status/1016194455030951936

One of Bhārat's finest actors ever, the late, hyper-talented Sanjeev Kumar (whose real name was Harihar Jethalal Jariwala) was Gujarati (Hindu/Jain ?). His family had moved from Surat to Mumbai.

He was mostly Gracile Indid, with a hint of Indo Brachid.
https://twitter.com/FilmHistoryPic/status/1201052591297302528

I've seen Udit Narayan classified as Indo-Brachid on anthro fora. Personally, I don't think he's plain Brachid, a western Indian morphology. Like Arnab Goswami who is basically an East Brachid, Central Brachid appears somewhat more accurate for Narayan.
https://twitter.com/rahulan5555/status/1239213061392732160

Amit Shah is basically Indo-Brachid, a phenotype fairly common amongst Gujaratis anyway. The nose looks like it could be Weddid-influenced, however.
https://twitter.com/CNNnews18/status/1200392831065477120

A NordIndid - East Alpinid/Asiatic Alpine combo, Ameesha Patel is a vastly underrated Tinseltown beauty, insofar as her looks are concerned. To say the least, she's stunning.
https://twitter.com/Bollywoodirect/status/1239925400223940610

Arguably the best-looking guy to have graced Bwood, the late Shashi Kapoor was, phenotypically, a NordIndid-Indo Brachid mix. An eminently able thespian too.
https://twitter.com/FilmHistoryPic/status/1003474905135017985

The legendary Nutan, one of my personal all-time favourite artistes, was as good-looking as she was talented. A Maharashtrian Chandraseniya Kayastha Prabhu, Nutanji strikes as predominantly NordIndid, albeit perhaps with a smattering of Gracile Indid.
https://twitter.com/ShemarooEnt/status/897321998648586240

Having just watched Sharmeelee (1971), a Rakhee Gulzar classic, I couldn't help adding to this thread by attempting to phenotypically classify her. Now, hers is not a straightforward case, yet I see Indo Brachid & (curiously for a Bengali) Asiatic Alpine.
https://twitter.com/FilmHistoryPic/status/1294128910951686144?s=20

The epitome of debonairness! His is a fairly straightforward classification, in my estimation. He's unambiguously NordIndid - tall, very Europid-looking by subcontinental standards, dolichocephalic and with very angular, robust features.
The legendary Bollywood beauty hails from a Chitpavan Brahmin/Konkanastha Brahmin (Brahmins native to the Konkan region) milieu. Her classic Indid good looks, along with her undoubted talent, make for a killer blend. Madhuri's morphology is mainly Gracile, with a little Brachid.
I notice that I had covered Madhuri Dixit in the thread earlier, slotting her in a Gracile-Nord compartment. This post has her as GI + IB. It is indeed true that depending on the angle of vision and her age when specific images were clicked, the Indid variety complementing her +
predominant Gracile Indid appearance can seem either NordIndid or Indo-Brachid. It's just not a clear-cut thing in her particular instance. The best that can be said is that she's mostly Gracile, but not strictly so, unlike say, a Jaya Prada or Sridevi. Anyway, she's ravishing.
https://twitter.com/FilmHistoryPic/status/1308541289999237123

On her 77th birthday, I'll try to phenotypically classify retired actor Tanuja, Kajol Devgn's mother. Whilst her elder sister Nutan (a personal favourite) had visible Nordoid features, I find Tanuja's looks more peninsular Indian - a Brachid-Gracile mix.
https://twitter.com/filmiposting/status/1303022722067255296

On to another Bwood persona, this time Rani Mukerji. She's basically Indid but I see a clear, if very subtle, underlying Mongolid influence, which is not surprising considering that she's Bengali. So, my verdict is, ahem, a loud, strident East Brachid.
https://twitter.com/SunielShetty_FC/status/1314256216437252096?s=20

Suneil Shetty's is not such a straightforward classification, and I've thought long and hard about it. His brachycephaly, I feel, is important and there's no doubt he's essentially Indo-Brachid. But he's also clearly slightly Veddoid-influenced, to me.
https://twitter.com/Team_JuhiChawla/status/1049679445605457920?s=20

Juhi Chawla, the famous film star of the '90s, was the winner of the 1984 Miss India beauty pageant. She is blessed with evident good looks, or at least, was in her youth. In phenotypic terms, she would be filed as Indo Brachid, with a strain of Gracile.
https://twitter.com/VintageMuVyz/status/1333627211933380611

Let us try to make out the phenotype of the famous actress of the yore, Vyjayanthimala Ma'am. Not too surprisingly for an Iyengar Brahmana from Tamil Nadu, she shows, for the major part, Indo Brachid tendencies, albeit with a slight touch of NordIndid.
https://twitter.com/iHrithik/status/1336703121049985027?s=20

A fairly straightforward classification - NordIndid. Also quite Western-shifted. Can pass without much difficulty as far west as southern Afghanistan and southeastern Iran. Classic Bollywoodoid, in fact.
