Amber Heard is trying (for the zillionth time) to dismiss Johnny Depp's defamation case against her. Her primary "argument" that it should be dismissed is because she says her Washington Post op-ed, at no point, was about Johnny. I'm using this short thread to prove otherwise.
Forget that every publication/media outlet reporting on her self-written WaPo article knew it was about Johnny, and said as much. The intent of her article was & is obvious. But let's look at some sequences of events anyway.
In December 2016, Porter Magazine published this letter from Amber, to her "silent sisters". The quality isn't the best but I think it's still clear enough to read.
On October 10, 2018, Amber attended a #MeToo anniversary event, where she read her 2016 letter. This event was not a public broadcast but someone still recorded Amber reading her letter (capturing most of it on video).
First before reading it, she mentions it was when she going through one of the most difficult times in her life & how relevant it is 2 1/2 years later (2 1/2 years after publicly accusing Johnny of DV).
Roughly 1 week later, in an interview on a TV show in the Netherlands, Amber was asked about this letter. The host is clearly asking about Johnny & her allegations against him. I overlaid clips with the very similar wording used in her op ed, published just 2 months later.
Of course Amber is no stranger to recycling her rehearsed words. Some might still try to argue that in the article & her letter, she was speaking for women in general. Allow me show, like always, when she speaks about these issues, it IS about her accusations against Johnny.
It's hard to argue that the letter she read about her accusations against Johnny, & then was asked specifically about in the Netherlands, was not about him. Some may point to the idea that she was speaking for women in general and not herself...
However, that all changed on January 18, 2020, at the LA Women's March. I cut clips of her words, recycled from her 2016 open letter & you might notice how the words aren't only similar(often exact) but now she is very much speaking personally, replacing "she" with "Me, my & I".
Now Ms. Daytime-Emmy-hopeful repeats her lines about standing "shoulder to shoulder" "change" & "no longer accepting silnce". Meanwhile, she has not addressed her own audio admission of guilt, & wants this case against her to go away...instead of speaking up.
And finally we see the agression of the non-victim. Reminder, this was just a couple of weeks before she was exposed as the actual abuser in the relationship.
There shouldn't be any confusion as to who/what she's talking about when she abuses these platforms, people & publications. She sought to publicly destroy her victim long after he escaped. She demonstrates every characteristic of an abuser & it's time to call it like it is.
Johnny Depp deserves justice. The type of equal justice Amber demands in all of her repetitive speeches. Her other victims deserve justice. And this time, she probably really does wish people would accept silence.

They sound like wonderful women. Women who knew what real struggle was.
