The verdict is in...

Based on watching her documentary on Netflix...

And I couldn't be more certain...

Taylor Swift's Myers-Briggs type is...
Taylor Swift - ENFJ

Let me explain...
What I'm gonna do is break down the letters then functions then some general notes.
Note: Typing is very hard. Type watching is even harder. Including another type system is harder. It is very easy to see enneagram type and use that as a basis to ignore low-hanging fruit.
Also, this is Twitter, these are not extensive explanations but I'll do my best to make it clear and comprehensive.
And I went in expecting to be wrong but once we got to the life transition, the gloves came off and we got to see what's really going on.
E - From a young age she was not only performative but self-propelled, out there and vocal. Introducing herself to people, not even remotely shy. If you listen to her voice she doesn't speak softly even when being quiet. She's not "loud" she's just not quiet.
N - Taylor talks about the future a lot. What's next, what does this mean, her ambition and what the future looks like.
F - Wanted to be seen as a good person. Writes about how she feels and is emotionally responsive. Is operating on the emotion she wants to achieve, which is validation from other people.
J - She shows up prepared. She doesn't really wing it. She has lyrics written, knows how melody is going to sound. She'll fine tune and workshop but shows up ready to produce.
I wouldn't disagree with her being a social 3. But enneagram and MBTI are not trade-offs. You can think of enneagram as what she said and MBTI as how she does it.

The function breakdown will cover a bit of what's going on here.
We'll go through the functions now with Fe-Ni-Se-Ti.
Fe - Much of her life has been about the desire for approval from other people. She mentions family and close friends as most important. She has a solid support system so she doesn't need to manage how people support her. She has no problem giving Brendan Urie a critique 😂
Fe is more obvious in the second half as she becomes more political after integrating Ti and after the trial she channeled that into what she can to change for other people.

She's outwardly expressive and emotional verbally using "we" language when emotional.
When she didn't get a Grammy nomination she took that as social feedback to "make a better album."

With Brendan Urie she took him and his fans into account with the music video including emo kids and such. I forget the exact words she used.
Bringing the fab 5 and others into her music video is about using her power to put the spotlight on other people.
Wanting to be seen as a good kid/person is a bit of ENFJ trope to be the cultural picture of a good child.
Ni - She brainstorms and workshops with only one other person.

She can tell a song will be a hit right away.

Each album is a different world and story all its own with its own vibe.

With "Me" she knew what the music video would look before finishing the song.
She described reaching the top of the mountain and asked what's next because she reached her goal that she set for herself she was a kid. Future-pacing over a long span of time.
Se - Glitter, sparkle, dancing, singing, and an uncanny ability to know the melody in her head then reproduce it. Her dancing isn't quite free form and loose like a perceiver might be. Her physical movement are still a bit rigid at times. She's using Se to appeal and perform.
She's using Se more these to bring Ni themes (with Ti integrated) into life with album art, shows and music videos that appeals to her (and others) as opposed to doing what others will like and earn approval (Fe-Se).
Ti - I'm so proud of how she integrated Ti. Her early career was a young Ni projection of success then using Fe and Se to get there but didn't go back to check in with Ti by asking what made sense and what's important to her. She was forced to do this when Kanye hit.
She has/had an inner mean girl judging herself for her mistakes. A little piece of internal accuracy saying she's not good enough in a nit-picky way.
She's quite language focused and does her writing privately but can workshop lyrics when brainstorming with one other person.
After the Kanye situation she retreated for a year. Spent time with someone who saw value in her individuality, basically someone seeing and appreciating her Ti. This gave her the strength to bring some of the Ti to light. Basically saying "People CAN like me for this part of me"
I ran out tweet space so I'm adding on after it's posted...
Reputation was an album was her baby Ti coming out and integrating. It was all about telling her truth. "Liars calling me a liar" etc etc. This makes sense when you think about songs like "Me" which are about her finding her individuality, it's just Ti individuality.
More of the second half of the doc included more about telling her truth and being a bit more sharp. Instead of seeking approval she's coming into her own as a leader for what makes and is important to her.
Now she does big important work for the world and is taking political action but she writes and speaks in her own voice. I respect the hell out of that and it was great to watch this journey. I'm unabashedly a Taylor Swift fan now and rooting for her.
Admittedly I was thrown off by the first half as well. She definitely had the achiever vibe and felt even ENFP-ish at times but there's so much to see between the line, especially after having to retreat for a year.
That's all I've got for now. Feel free to ask questions and reply to specific things you'd like me to elaborate on.
Okay, so I know the popular choice is *SFP, which I totally get because the first half is all work and performance. I even considered ENFP with the classic case of Fi integrated after 10 years of overachieving through Te but I saw no Ne. She's always focused and prepared.
They showed enough examples of her performing and writing, even in casual settings but with other people in which she's always prepared. She shows up with a big seed of a song to workshop and she's always moving the song forward. There's very little waffling or "let's try this"
She just doesn't wing it at all, so I have no reason to believe she's a perceiver.

I also have no reason to believe she's an introvert. She was quiet as a kid as a means to behave and be a good kid or "good person" but she gets a people high after performing.
"All those people, they're so happy."
That eliminates the possibility of Fi unless she's TJ, which isn't even registering for me. I don't see Fi at all. Many arguments for Fi are things Ti does as well. A personal moral code, individuality and expression. Ti expresses through language, Fi through the body.
She's so language focused and can write pretty quickly. Fi has a much more difficult time putting words to feelings. ISFPs are often the quietest people and she's not quiet in that way. She doesn't quite take up space like an ESFP either.
So I suspect the confusion is in either conflating Fi and Ti or not knowing enough about either of those functions WHICH IS OKAY THIS IS NOT AN ATTACK. But the Fi-Te polarity is simply not there.
And lastly I didn't see Ne at all. Brendan Urie is a good example of dominant Ne in a short burst. Even in his short scene he was "random" and all over the place. Compare those two to get a lot of information.
I need you all to know that I did all of this to not be right but to support the skill and accuracy of the community. I've had a lot of experience and am confident in my judgement. If you don't trust my judgement, that's okay. You have things to think about.
I just ask that you don't ignore my finding in favor of your own bias. Watch it again with my notes if you have to if the goal is to indeed get better at this.
