While there are several contradictory claims on percapita income of different caste-groups, it’s a well known fact that many of the “practising Brahmins” like Archakas, Purohit’s earn lesser than ‘daily-wage labourers’ - while their children are “openly discriminated” against 1
The children of Archakas and Purohit’s are ridiculed in schools & colleges for - their poverty, their attire, and their vegetarianism - equally by all castes including Dalits, and Nonbrahmin forward castes alike.
There is an intellectual fraud called Kancha Ilaiah who writes books that practically calls for “genocide of Brahmins “.
This “open hatred for Brahmins“ is visible and shared by many communists, liberals, Congress, Christian funded -NGO/Activists.

I wonder if Brahmins will meet the same fate as #KashmiriPandits given the narrative of Left Media like @ndtv and left politics.
