Self-cognition.
The mechanism which differentiates human thought from the consciousness of plants or animals.
We not only know, we *know* that we know.
And we monitor this process of Knowing, while conducting a comparative evaluation of our thoughts against adopted standards.

We are wired to see structure, logic, and patterns.
It helps us make sense of the world.
Our brains are designed to take in ambiguous visual information and organize it into something that makes sense to us – something familiar, orderly, symmetrical, something we understand.

When we look at a complex arrangement of visual elements, we seek out a single, recognizable pattern.
When this cognitive process kicks in, our comprehension is essentially hijacked, while our vision remains the same.

So, while human consciousness can self-monitor, our perceptions can be manipulated by our inputs.
We "sense" the world around us using visual projections of our selves in that world.
As we are doing a thing, we encounter in our minds eye a version of ourselves doing that thing.

Contrary to what everyone knows is so,
it may not be the brain that produces consciousness,
but rather,
it is consciousness that creates the appearance of the brain—matter, space, time and everything else we are pleased to interpret as the physical universe.

Reality:
Reality is finite, in that it has both a beginning and an end, because Reality is bound within Space and Time.
Consciousness:
Consciousness is eternal, with no beginning and no end, bound only by energy.
Energy:
Energy is eternal, and cannot be created or destroyed.

Memory is a function of consciousness.
Consciousness and memory together constitute the ultimate source of our identity.
Through memory we can observe or even manipulate our experiences, allowing us to play in and learn from a dimension that is both inside & outside this world.

The tangible world is movement, say the Masters.
Not a collection of moving objects, but movement itself.
All objects perceptible to our senses, all phenomena of any kind and any aspect are constituted by a rapid succession of instantaneous events.
Matter is constantly moving.

Everything has an inherent vibration.
Sounds.
Thoughts.
Colors.
Emotions.
Every thing vibrates at a specific frequency.
Our bodies are essentially coherent oscillators, vibrating with or against the surrounding electromagnetic medium.
We are either in tune or out of tune.

"Man is a synthesis of the psychical and the physical."
-- Kierkegaard
The PSYCHical, referring to our psyche or "mind".
The PHYSical referring to our body or "corpse".
However, a synthesis is unthinkable if the two are not united in a third entity -- the Spirit.
Awareness.

Our original state as human beings, what we are born into the world with aside from flesh & bone, is quite simple:
Existence
Awareness
Bliss
Everything else, all of our thoughts, sensations, experiences, everything else besides these three things is simply external programming.
