"Ryan Stone resigned his position from Manor City Council in the summer of 2017. But according to an arrest affidavit, he began sending obscene messages to a woman while he was still in office and continued while he was running for Congress.

The messages are so graphic, we can't show them in full on television. In some of the less offensive -- Stone is accused of writing: "Even if I have to rape you and go to jail I don't care because it will be worth it."

and "If you try to run it will only get worse. You are mine now and I own you." That was last October 29th, during Stone's run for Congress. He dropped out in November. The messages started months earlier, in May of 2017, when Stone was on the Manor City Council.

During his run for Congress, Stone had the support of the Justice Democrats, the same progressive group behind candidates like Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez in New York.
