Göbekli Tepe is twice as old as Egypt's 1st dynasty.

The City of Jericho had a tower that stood 7,000 years BEFORE Joshua blew his horns.

9) Things picked up when copper was used for the first time in prehistory.

Copper was the first major technological advancement that gave a tribe an advantage over another using stone weaponry.

It ushered in easier agriculture w/ the plough.

The oldest was in Jordan—4,000 BCE

10) The knowledge of this new material, and how to gather ore & purify it through smelting, traveled fast in the ancient world.

The land of Canaan sits right between two great ancient civilizations.

Egypt and Sumer... Copper built empires.

Mesopotamia—4000 BCE
Egypt—3500 BCE

11) Interesting side note: If we cross check those dates with the (non-canonical) Book of Enoch, we can see that "In the days of Jared" the watchers came down to mount Hermon.

12) We know where the early copper mines were because of recent (and old) archaeological discoveries, and through the words of the earliest historians, in both hieroglyphics and cuneiform...

Before Phoenicia was Phoenicia (of King Solomon's time 1,000 BCE), there were indeed a sea-going coastal people in modern Lebanon

Neolithic remains date it to 8,800 BCE. Eusebius said Byblos was the oldest city in the world, founded by Cronus himself!

And Byblos is on the coast.

RIGHT in the middle of all the ACTION.

Sea trade. Land trade... Since day 1.

16) Want to know what else made Byblos the historic center of our sea-going tales of old?

It had an even bigger advantage than copper.

The Cedars of Lebanon.

The best wood in the world for ships—Rot resistant, insect-proof (resin), fine grain, good smell, and workable.

17) Despite the shore-hugging trips of the early Canaanites, they most likely did NOT travel much beyond the Mediterranean & Black Sea.

It took the migration of another people to the same lands of Canaan that would bring the sea technology needed to make Canaan into Phoenicia.

18) Before they packed up and moved into the coastal area of Canaan, the greatest ancient sea-faring people came from Bahrain—a small island in the Persian Gulf.

The DILMUN

They WERE the sea traders between the Indus Valley, the Mesopotamian, and the Egyptian cultures.

19) It's debatable which group of people invented the sail. The earliest depiction of a sail was found in Kuwait—the painted discs.

Whether is was the Ubaid culture or the Dilmun, one thing is for sure. The Dilmun mastered ocean-going vessels.

Not the reed boats of the Tigris.

20) Sometime between 2,500 BCE and 2,000 BCE the greater part of the Dilmun tribe left Bahrain and made the same journey from Ur to Canaan as did Abraham.

Instead of continuing to Egypt, however, they stopped just south of Byblos...

And founded Tyre.

The birth of Phoenicia.

22) In fact, Strabo also felt that the Phoenicians were originally from Tylos.

Tylos was the name used by the ancient Greeks to refer to Bahrain.

Strabo was a Classical greek historian.

These ancient mounds are found all over the Island of Bahrain.

Canaanites were there since the beginning...

The Dilmun came in waves from Bahrain and founded Tyre on an older, smaller ruin—right next door to Byblos and equally positioned to use those precious cedars.

Then comes Abraham from Ur... Interesting mix.

26) Talk about MIXES!

For a Biblical perspective, it appears the cross section for all the Sons of Noah overlap the area in question.

Right smack in the middle... The (later) promised land.

27) The ebb and flow of kings, kingdoms, and peoples in the middle East is staggering. And because writing—in all its forms—was still primitive, we only have glimpses of these great migrations from the records of these kings.

28) If there ever was an ancient "melting pot" it occurred in two places—both Dilmun:

- Bahrain Dilmun: (Micronesia, Indus/Harappa, Mesopotamia, Ethiopia, Arabia, Egypt)

- Canaanite/Dilmun: (Canaan, Hittites, Assyria, Black Sea Tribes, Mittani, Minoans, Egypt, Libya)

29) It stands to reason that a sea people such as the Dilmun would need to learn communication skills quickly, if they were to be successful in trade and commerce.

Phonetics is a branch of linguistics based on the sounds of human speech, born in Phoenicia—in later years later.

30) Let's set the stage for a part of the story where we may introduce the FIRST lost tribes of Israel. 1,200 years before Nebuchadnezzar II the "destroyer of nations" sent the Israel's tribes far to the North, before coming back for (predominantly) the tribe of Judah in 587 BCE.

31) The very FIRST Diaspora was NOT as slaves, but as Kings—with more money than Pharaoh himself...

Precisely why they were forced out of Egypt, 150 years before Moses lead the less financially fortunate remainder of the Hebrews from the land of Goshen and Tanis, into the Sinai.

32) Abram, Isaac, Jacob... Whose roots lie in the land of Chaldea (Abram's home in Sumer) and VERY familiar with their former neighbors to the South—the Dilmun?

From 1,800 BCE to 1,650 BCE Jacob's Sons became like Pharaohs, and they discovered the world on Dilmun ships.

33) History doesn't remember these peoples as Jews, or Hebrews, or even Phoenician's... Too early.

They were the Hyksos Pharaohs...

And they were a motley crew of Dilmun, Canaanite, Mitanni... and of course—Thanks to Joseph—The Israelites.

Not the face of a Nubian Pharaoh.

34) Keep in mind, before the Hyksos were forced out of the Nile delta region, they did NOT have the Torah, as Moses hadn't been born.

They had Abraham's God, and Noah's Laws (Noahide Law).

But they also had Egypt's God's, and Canaan's God's, and thought themselves as such.

35) Sound crazy? Any proof?

Oh yeah... baby... Lots, and lots...

BUT. We have to use multiple sources to "stitch it all together."

Bible -> Hieroglyphs -> Cuneiform, etc.

Before we get into the details of the FIRST Diaspora, let's backtrack and refresh our memories.

Joseph.

36) Jacob's favorite son.

Sold into slavery by jealous brothers, who tricked their father into thinking Joseph had perished by producing a torn and bloodied coat.

You know the story... Joseph and his coat of many colors.

These brothers, I tell you...

37) Joseph was sent to serve under Pharaoh. And apparently, he was a good looking man. Pharaohs wife had the hots for him.

She tried to bed him... He politely refused. She told Pharaoh that he tried to come onto her, and that SHE refused...

Now get this. Pharaoh knew the truth.

38) Pharaoh knew that Joseph was a righteous man... A good man. And he knew his wife.

For reasons even familiar today, Joseph had to do some "time," despite his innocence.

No worries... Things were about to change.

39) "Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved himself, and changed his raiment, and came in unto Pharaoh.

And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I have dreamed a dream, and there is none that can interpret it..."

Genesis 41:14

40) Joseph, having spent the last 12 years in prison—known for his ability to interpret dreams—told Pharaoh that his dream of 7 fat cows and 7 starving cows meant that Egypt was to endure 7 years of great plenty, followed by 7 years of great famine.

41) And that if Pharaoh was wise enough to save the excess seed and grain from the years of plenty, Egypt would be spared—even prosper—during famine.

Remember, Pharaoh already liked Joseph from the incident w/ the wife... And Joseph was wise enough to not call her a liar.

42) Do you remember what Pharaoh did then? He basically said, "Great. You run it."

And Joseph did.

And it came to pass that his interpretation did in fact happen, thus strengthening his own position and status w/ Pharaoh.

Joseph—by all accounts, righteous—ran Egypt as Vizier.

43) Other surrounding nations and empires did not fare so well during this time of famine. In fact, Joseph's own family—The Tribe of Israel (Jacob)—were greatly affected...

And thus begins one of my favorite stories in the Bible.

The brothers come to Egypt.

44) I told you this was going to be a monster thread... I'm not going to skip over important parts of this journey, because it's in some of the DETAILS that we find our answers.

So, before I go into what Israel told his sons, we need some perspective...

45) First... It's very easy to get lost in the Bible w/ regards to timeline. People migrating and fighting and worshipping in robes... How to keep track.

We're in Genesis. The 1st book. That's how old this is w/ Abraham, Isaac, & Jacob.

1,000 YEARS prior to it being written.

46) Hundreds of years before Moses was even conceived...

Abraham was a RICH man... Not a man with a hundred goats and a few tents... He was wealthy.

He left Ur wealthy. He left Haran wealthy. And he gained wealth in Canaan, as Lot did in Moab.

Perspective.

47) "And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold."

—Genesis 13:2

48) Not kind of rich... Very rich...

It makes sense, doesn't it? How else could Abram (Abraham) have spoken to Pharaoh, prior to Joseph in Egypt?

And how does The Pharaoh of Josep's time give him "face time."

They were wealthy, worldly, & Neighbors.

Ok... Back to the story.

49) Ah yes... I almost forget... The BIGGEST piece of perspective is this...

The other difference in the equation is that these sons of Abraham had a LONG lineage of direct communication w/ God, or vivid dreams of angels and messages.

Adam -> Enoch -> Noah -> Abraham -> Jacob

50) You might say, "Yeah, but other kings & emperors claimed to speak to God(s)."

Did they risk everything and build a massive boat? Did they pack up their wealth and leave Ur as prosperous Mesopotamian merchants—not even knowing WHERE the promised land was—because of a vision.

51) Big correction: Not Pharaoh's wife... Potiphar’s wife.

52) Now, let's remember what Jacob told his sons about their blessings, and what might become of them.

53) Genesis 49:1 "And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days."

2 "Gather yourselves together, and hear, ye sons of Jacob; and hearken unto Israel your father."

54) The 12 Tribes of Israel

55) "3 Reuben, thou art my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of dignity, and the excellency of power:

4 Unstable as water, thou shalt not excel; because thou wentest up to thy father's bed; then defiledst thou it: he went up to my couch."

58) "8 Judah, thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies; thy father's children shall bow down before thee.

59) 9 Judah is a lion's whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up?

60) 10 The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.

64) 16 Dan shall judge his people, as one of the tribes of Israel.

17 Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder in the path, that biteth the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward.

18 I have waited for thy salvation, O Lord.

65) 19 Gad, a troop shall overcome him: but he shall overcome at the last.

66) 20 Out of Asher his bread shall be fat, and he shall yield royal dainties.

67) 21 Naphtali is a hind let loose: he giveth goodly words.

68) 22 Joseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well; whose branches run over the wall:

23 The archers have sorely grieved him, and shot at him, and hated him:

69) 24 But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob; (from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel:)

70) 25 Even by the God of thy father, who shall help thee; and by the Almighty, who shall bless thee with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb:

71) 26 The blessings of thy father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.

72) 27 Benjamin shall ravin as a wolf: in the morning he shall devour the prey, and at night he shall divide the spoil.

73) Joseph's blessing went to his two sons...

74) 16 And for the precious things of the earth and fulness thereof, and for the good will of him that dwelt in the bush: let the blessing come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the top of the head of him that was separated from his brethren.

75) 17 His glory is like the firstling of his bullock, and his horns are like the horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth: and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh.

76) "Genesis: 28 All these are the twelve tribes of Israel: and this is it that their father spake unto them, and blessed them; every one according to his blessing he blessed them."

The year was 1,859 BCE.

77) The tribe of Israel settles in the Nile Delta region—land of Goshen—and begins at once into the share-cropping system (unto themselves) as lead by Joseph...

And then we have a MASSIVE gap in the Bible.

A 400-year gap.

What the heck happened during THAT time?

78) The next information we receive is in Exodus...

Exodus 1:8 "Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph.

9 And he said unto his people, Behold, the people of the children of Israel are more and mightier than we."

79) 406 years missing...

A longer period of time than the existence of the United States of America.

In that time, The children of Israel grew from several dozen people to 3 million.

7 dynasties passed in Egypt during that time, some running concurrently.

80) Let's examine what happened in this MISSING time via the history of others—outside the Bible.

It's all there...

This is where it gets fun :)

81) Joseph ruled while alive, to the moment of his death.

But after? Judah rules... So said Jacob.

Remember?

Genesis 49:10 "The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be."

82) This is very much a story of 3 tribes... the Tribe of Judah, Zebulon, and—mostly—about the Tribe of Dan.

One had the birthright in Canaan, the others had the rest of the world.

83) Although not Pharaoh, the Vizier ran the kingdom. Within the Egyptian empire, Israelite princes—in line to be king—set to make something of themselves with the help of their semitic cousins in power—like Hammurabi, who many associate with the Biblical Nimrod and Amraphel.

84) This moment in time—in my opinion—despite being known as the Hyksos to the Egyptians, is where Phoenicia really takes off... Because the sons of Israel and the sons of Canaan worked together in boats from Tyre w/ Egyptian & Babylonian $$$ backing.

Where did they go first?

85) Perhaps before we discuss the "where," we should discuss the "who."

If Judah holds the birthright, then it must pass to the first son (Patrilineal primogeniture) as it was (and is, in some cases) the custom.

Judah had 5 sons... But we have a problem.

86) Judah first 3 sons were with a Canaanite woman (Shua), God saw them as evil and killed the first 2 (Er, Onan), leaving only young Shelah.

Canaanite blood would not have been acceptable to the patriarchs nor the people.

And that's when we get to a CRITICAL part of the story.

87) And there leads us to the story of Er's widow (an Israelite) named Tamar... Who Judah was trying to wed her to Shelah when of age. She was having none of it...

Do you know the story of Judah and Tamar?

88) In wodows clothing, Tamar waited on the road for Judah, who did not recognize her, and wanted to take her to bed... She demanded his signet, bracelet, and staff... As a kind of temporary payment before the delivery of a goat.

When the goat was delivered, Tamar was gone.

89) Gen 38:24 "And it came to pass about three months after, that it was told Judah, saying, Tamar thy daughter in law hath played the harlot; and also, behold, she is with child by whoredom. And Judah said, Bring her forth, and let her be burnt."

90) Gen 38:25 When she was brought forth, she sent to her father in law, saying, By the man, whose these are, am I with child: and she said, Discern, I pray thee, whose are these, the signet, and bracelets, and staff.

91) Gen 38:26 "And Judah acknowledged them, and said, She hath been more righteous than I; because that I gave her not to Shelah my son. And he knew her again no more.

27 And it came to pass in the time of her travail, that, behold, twins were in her womb."

92) Tamar was pregnant with twins...

93) And that brings to the important point of this story... Because of the importance of this birth, it was critical for the midwife to "get it right!"

Whomever is born first, with get the birthright...

Guess what happens?

94) Gen 38:28 And it came to pass, when she travailed, that the one put out his hand: and the midwife took and bound upon his hand a scarlet thread, saying, This came out first.

95) Gen 38:29 And it came to pass, as he drew back his hand, that, behold, his brother came out: and she said, How hast thou broken forth? this breach be upon thee: therefore his name was called Pharez.

96) Gen 38:30 And afterward came out his brother, that had the scarlet thread upon his hand: and his name was called Zarah."

97) Uh oh... We have a problem... The firstborn was not the one with the "red tape."

I suppose the definition of "birth: might be important here... Nevertheless, it was the Pharez line that gave us David and Solomon.

98) Let's look at the lineage of both lines...

99) The one down the center should look very familiar to you... The one of the left? Perhaps not so much.

But it is the footnote on the previous graphic for which I'd like you to pay the most attention.

Might also be a good idea to buckle up...

100) 1 Kings 4:30 Solomon's wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the east country, and all the wisdom of Egypt.

For he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Chalcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol: and his fame was in all nations round about.

101) Did you catch that? We've heard about the wisdom of Solomon, but unless you understand why the author of 1 Kings would compare him to characters from 800 years prior.

The sons of Zarah must have has great wisdom.

Of course they did.

They were the ancient Greeks of legend!

102) Before we get into the adventures of Greece, Troy, Scythia, Ireland, Scotland, and many other places, it's important to recognize that the Hyksos were NOT the first explorers of the sea, however, they were among the first.

Let's discuss the known world at this time.

103) We know that the inhabitants of the Aegean islands were indigenous. They were called by the Greeks the "Pelasgians," which were the people there before they were "Greek."

There were also the Minoans and Cypriots, two cultures with existing trade networks into ancient Europe

104) But the next I post may shake your paradigm... What if there was a great navy that already mapped the Mediterranean? Or even beyond...

What if it happened 1,500 years earlier than even the Hyksos?

Would you believe it? Perhaps even 800 years before the flood?

105) After all, The Tribe of Dan did not wait for the House of Judah. They were off in foreign lands from the very start of Joseph's reign in Egypt.

They must have been following even older maps or writings from Egyptians and/or Sumerians.

106) Why would I say this?

Meet the very first Pharaoh of Egypt. He is from dynasty 0.

His name was Narmer (or Menes). You may know him as the Scorpion King. He was the first to unite the lower and Upper kingdoms of Egypt.

The year was 3,100 BCE.

107) And he's buried in Ireland...

This was the text inscribed on the Great Ebony Label found in 1901 by Sir Flinders Petrie in the "tomb".

Narmer's tomb was empty. In his old age he embarked on this trip the the "Sunset Land."

111) There is a deep thread for the Egyptian flood myth and the God's... The people he was seeking were the "Ari," according to Manetho...

Which many have attached to "Aryan."

What about the Fuente Magna Bowl? Unearthed in Bolivia by a local farmer...

113) Dr. Alberto Marini translated the writings carved onto the Fuente Magna Bowl and reported that they were Sumerian.

114) Dr. Winters discovered Vai script had similar signs to the Libyco-Berber, Indus valley, Proto-Elamite and Proto-Sumerian signs which allowed him to decipher the text. Using the phonetic values of the Vai script, he was able to decipher some of the writings.

119) In April of 1843, in Pike County Illinois, the Kinderhook plates were discovered, written in an unfamiliar script, similar to Egyptian and/or ancient paleo-Hebrew script...

120) There is something more to this story... The plates were found with a skeleton that was 9 feet tall.

121) Now, because of the subject matter, there are few that take a greater interest in this "America" investigation more seriously and more thoroughly than the Mormons...

Suspend your opinion on Joseph Smith for a moment. We don't need to believe him to observe evidence.

122) Note: Those skeleton photos are not of the Kinderhook skeleton... However, before the secrecy doctrine of the Smithsonian Institute—and whoever controls information—decided to hide the HUNDREDS of American giants found in the MOUNDS of dozens of Midwest states...

123) This of course was of great interest to Joseph Smith, and about a year before his death, he claimed to translate a part of the plates... However, he never made it public...
