A collective history of our board & shenanigans for all to contribute to:
DS & DG buy the club and claim a 7 year plan for to be tenants at the Olympic stadium & CL football. DS claiming he has wanted the role for the past 20 years https://www.theguardian.com/football/2010/jan/19/sullivan-gold-west-ham-takeover

Wanted the club for 20 years yet in this interview during his tenure at Birmingham his only interested if buying another club was the home town Bluebirds (Cardiff) or london club for the commute. From 4m 50 will sound very familiar to what we hear
Publicly calls out squad as shambolic unbalanced reminds everyone that "Nobody at the club should delude themselves that we are a good team."
Zola & team less than impressed by the very public undermining by DS https://www.theguardian.com/football/2010/mar/25/david-sullivan-west-ham-open-letter

Zola is dismissed for gross misconduct for speaking against the board stating ever6 player is up for sale bar Parker & takes them to a tribunal. Ultimately Zola wins & the board are forced to pay him his salary of 1.9m https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/west-ham-line-up-grant-as-sacked-zola-faces-a-fight-for-compensation-1971223.html
West Ham appoint Avram Grant on a 4 year deal signalling "beginning of a new era at West Ham United" with fans being assured by the board "We have taken our time over this appointment and are certain we have got the right man." https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/grant-confirmed-as-west-ham-manager-5544269.html
The era of Grant hadn't gone so well & the club was left with the decision of stick or twist. The club twisted but O'Neill ran as unimpressed by the boards unprofessionlism. So the decision to stick was taken & Grant continued on https://www.theguardian.com/football/2011/jan/17/martin-oneill-west-ham-bonus-manager
Sticking turned out to be another bad idea from the board resulting in Grant unable to keep the team up after a loss to Wigan agter leading 2-0 infamously Grant was refused to use the team bus after his sacking Parker showing class & insisting he does https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/13404955
After relegation WHU appointed Big Sam to restructure the team and bring back to the promised land of the EPL. During the season a club-record 14 away victories was achieved & qualified for the playoffs https://www.whufc.com/club/history/managers/sam-allardyce
A comfortable couple victories over Cardiff put WHU in the final with Blackpool. I was there that day & loved it especially as the guy next to me was a row in front across the chairs when Vaz Te scored the winner. All in all the board backed the manager
West Ham 3 solid seasons under Big Sam & a brief flirtation with success with being 4th at Christmas with the inevitable falling away.

During the era of Big Sam the process of trying to secure the Olympic Stadium begun in haste. Promises where made & a vision for the future presented to a club desperate for success. As it transpired these were "hopeful promises" & shouldn't be lambasted
Infamously told that the LS seats would be no further away from the pitch than at UP & if they where we wouldn't be moving. I guess this was just another hopeful promise so lambasting the board isn't warranted according to them for deception.
We were lead to believe that the stadium move was a "Once in a Lifetime Opportunity" the chance we could start to compete in the top half of the league & ultimately start to become a challenger for EL & CL football regularly
Big Sam confirms the unorthodox transfer strategy implemented by WHU transfer Overlord Sullivan who would use the managers' transfer kitty to bring in players he fancied via his network of agents during his time https://talksport.com/football/661434/sam-allardyce-west-ham-transfer-strategy-david-sullivan-signings/
A great example of this was with the signing of Diafra "Mayhem" Sakho. DS doing what he does best providing the manager with a "little gift" & then looking to alter a deal at the final hour to save himself some cash & infuriate the Metz board showing a total lack of respect
With Big Sam leaving DS was tasked with finding a new manager for the upcoming season for the Farewell Boylen season. Some big names were linked with the club with the most exciting being El Loco ... but he had other ideas as to where he saw his future.
Sully was within 2 hours of signing a winner & a Champions league pro in Rafa Benetiz but as legend will say a deal was done the night before but agreed to sign the next only for Madrid to come calling & his taxi making a sharp U-Turn for Heathrow. https://www.hammers.news/club-news/what-david-sullivan-said-about-rafa-benitez-becoming-west-ham-manager-in-the-past-does-not-bode-well-for-manuel-pellegrini/
Sullivan finally gets his 4th choice on the list.
Super "Slav" Bilic. West Ham had a past player at the helm for the first time since Sir Trev tempory role. There was quiet optimism & trepidation heading into what was the final year at our beloved HOME https://www.whufc.com/news/articles/2015/june/09-june/hammers-appoint-bilic

After a poor start to the 2016/17 season, WHU kept setting Bilic 3 games & yet offering out his job to others whilst still trying to right the ship. Rudi Garcia claimed he was one of those offered the role https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/2028877/new-marseille-boss-rudi-garcia-reveals-he-rejected-offer-to-take-over-as-west-ham-manager-this-season/

WHU via their accounts value Upton Park at £71m & yet astonishingly sell our spiritual home for £40m only to see the buyer become the seller making a £20m profit

Remember they're "Fans" or is it "Custodians"
They don't take a wage out of the club in any way
Debt is king at WHU & will never truly decrease under them & why would it?
Simply perfect how Steve puts it perfectly as to what they truly are #GSBOUT
