7. Leonora, His Omega Mate by Chencia C. Higgins (bk 2, Wolves of West Texas) m/f, PNR, black romance. The sweetly seductive bearded Cassius who would be happy to keep Leonora if Adrian doesn’t figure things out stole the book even if didn’t get the girl https://amzn.to/2QZs0pd

(CW: grief, murder, infertility, threats of rape, fatphobia past trauma: DV, mentions of child SA)
36. Nice Girls don’t have Fangs (M/F UF/PNR/WF. Imminently readable but really the wrong thing to read: too many references to the confederacy & is appropriative: the white straight heroine feel like a minority while there are no black characters & is forcibly outed as a vampire
37. Bear’s Gold by Yvette Hines (m/f, PNR with black heroine) Rebekah Weatherspoon recently recommend this & it was just what I needed to read. Fun world building, diverse small town, a delightful play on Goldielocks with Hot widowed single dad Bear shifter. (CWs: stalker ex).
