In 2020:

1) Be committed to your responsibilities and duties.

2) Stop listening to rhetorics like 'you live only once, enjoy your life'.

3) The guilt of an unfinished task triggers your anxiety. Do what you have to do. It is easier doing something than dreading doing it.
4) Try to enjoy an occasion without having to drink.

5) Try to come out of adversity without having to drink to forget thinking about it.

6) Stop shitting on your parents on social media. They don't shit about you to some random strangers on the internet.
7) Never trust your future-self to do a job. If you aren't doing this tonight, your future-self is not going to wake up early and get it done. If you have to sacrifice your sleep to get work done, do it by sleeping late, not by waking up early because you aren't going to.
8) Sharpen your senses and let go of your ego so that you can be persuaded and not manipulated.

9) Differentiate urges from needs. Alcohol, cigarettes, and junk food are not needs.

10) Think twice before saying Yes. It is not a choice, it is a responsibility.
11) Always ask yourself, 'Would you still do it if nobody were to appreciate you for this?'

12) Don't make some people's opinion the source of your validation. Be good at a sport or go to the gym where you can feel content with your everyday progress.
13) People who are older have been through things you haven't. Listen to them. You don't have to agree with them. But listen.

14) When something bad happens, trust it had to happen because it couldn't have happened otherwise. If it could have, it would have. It is what it is.
15) The consequences of your actions done while being angry becomes a bigger problem than the problem for which you got angry. Every word you utter while being angry could turn your anger into hatred. Shut your thoughts. Sit. Breathe. Relax.
16) Take care of yourself. But understand emo and self-pity are narcissism disguised as 'depth'. Self-pitying is pleasantly indulging.
17) Indulging your desires is not self-love and the realization of your desires is not happiness. You are just becoming more and more toxic without any purpose.
18) Buy expensive things, so that you have to buy them only once as they last long. Expensive things are not the same as over-priced things. Expensive thing is a thing whose price is high but worth it. Over-priced things aren't worth their price.
19) Pleasures which entail guilt are not worth it. Not only do those pleasures harm your health, but they also make you feel inferior for not being able to conquer it. Try to get rid of them.
