On June 16, 2015, Donald Trump formally announced his candidacy for the presidency.
Almost 1.5 years BEFORE that date, I wrote a letter to a prominent Republican Representative to explain why the Republican message historically fails to resonate with ordinary people.

Mostly I spoke about their failure to address a human need near the top of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs: the need to feel safe. I reminded the Representative of Henry David Thoreau's quote: "Most men lead lives of quiet desperation and go to the grave with the song still in them"
My letter originated from my alarm at the radical anti-life and socialist leanings coming to flower in the Democrat party. This deadly attractive flower of Socialism drinks-in the fear in men only to ensnare them like the Venus flytrap captures its unwitting prey.
The essence of my letter in February 2014 was not to ask Republicans to abandon their policies, but to articulate their policies in a way that resonates in a man's heart - where needs and aspirations are born. They must make the intelligent and factual connection between
their policies and the positive outcomes that will meet man's needs, something sadly lost on our young minds today.
I ended that 2014 letter with this statement:
"Republicans need to find the new "George Washington". That is to say, giant men with strong convictions, and unique leadership qualities that make people feel safe."

Who would have thought a human desire for heroic and bold leadership would become a prayer answered by the Almighty God, who listens to all hearts?

Donald Trump shares our fallen and imperfect nature, but possesses an instinct and loyalty to country and duty unsurpassed in any politician in generations at least and maybe in the last century if not longer. A strategic thinker in the mold of George Washington, he rises above
the hatred aimed at him, & goes forth to save America from itself & its foreign enemies. Plz give him your support or stand back/get out of the way. Our very survival as a free & prosperous people & the lives of our own children (destined for war) hangs by a thread.
