BM are seven times more likely to be wrongly convicted of murder than WM.
-Assaults on WW by BM men are small % of sexual assaults but makeup 50% of those exonerated for sexual assault
- innocent BM are 12x more likely to be convicted of drug crimes than WM
- In cases of exoneration, courts take longer to free BM than WM;
- as of 2016, In 84.6% of exoneration cases that took 26 or more years almost all the exonerees were BM.
- BM accused of crimes against White victims account for a disproportionate % of wrongful convictions.
School-prison pipeline/punishment/educational outcomes for Black boys Pre-k through college
Black boys are more likely to suspended than any other racial group. This starts as early as Pre-kindergarten.

According to recent Federal data, Among Black preschoolers (age 3-4) Black boys account for 74% of all suspensions.

One experiment done at Yale in 2016 shows how preschool teachers look for disruptive behavior where they expect it — and they expect it most from black boys

This criminalization has direct effects on future life outcomes. Another study found that that at ages 25-32, suspended Black boys were less likely non-suspended Black boys to have earned bachelor's degrees, and more likely to have been arrested.
