As a Naval Intelligence officer in the 50's for over a 12 year period, William Tompkins worked for an "Above Top Secret" think tank for Douglas Aircraft. In 1951, Tompkins main role at Douglas Aircraft was to design multiple space craft along with kilometer-long antigravity ships for the U.S. Navy.
He later worked for other classified projects at TRW, General Dynamics among other aerospace companies.
