3. You recieve engagement across the hierarchy of many companies
4. You grow your clientele
5. You get job offers/deals
👇🏽
1. USE A PROFESSIONAL PHOTO

• Your profile picture is the first thing recruiters see. You want high quality photos that reflect the career/interests you want to attract.

@_Deejayyy profile is a great example. His photos says:

- High Quality Photo
2. REFINE THE TAGLINE FOR YOUR PROFILE

• For new job hunters, use interest of your career field in your headline
• For experienced workers, use the same thing

Example

For someone in the business world, this attracts recruiters
3. YOUR LOCATION

• If you want to work in downtown Denver, use that as your location.

• Many recruiters are remote & check location to see if your commute is doable for their work hours.

The closer you are to them, the closer the offer letter is to you.
4. TELL YOUR STORY IN THE ABOUT SECTION

• Post resume
• Post relevant work
• Show your personality
• Use a brief paragraph for:

1. Values growing up
2. Ability to be educated
3. Time management skills
4. Problem solving & impact others

BE YOURSELF.
ATTRACT YOUR ENERGY
5. WRITE ARTICLES TO ESTABLISH YOURSELF AS AN AUTHORITY

• When recruiters see your profile, the articles & activity tab is a perfect way to show case you're interesting, knowledgeable, coachable, and respected in your network.

WRITE FROM YOUR PERSPECTIVE OF YOUR INDUSTRY 🙌🏽
6. LIST THE MOST RECENT & MOST RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE

• Include accurate time frames
• Describe YOUR impact at work
• Showcase what you learned

By clearly defining this in your LinkedIn profile in addition to your resume, you will make applying for jobs easier as well😇
7. BE PROUD TO SHARE YOUR EDUCATION

• The actual school ONLY matters in relation to your ability to build a connection with recruiters and during interviews by sharing your story

Showcase your intelligence at universities, add special courses, etc.
8. BRAG ABOUT VOLUNTEERING BECAUSE YOU'RE HELPING OTHERS

• Charities
• Community Service
• School events (Eg. Tree planting)

It shows you are compassionate and communicates to recruiters that you're happy, ready and willing to help others similar to how you'll help companies
