Been collecting membership cards for organizations involved in #raceshifting over past 4-5 years. Managed to collect from about 20 different orgs in VT, NH, QC, ON, NB, NS. The orgs are all featured on our handy website. I share the cards below! http://www.raceshifting.com
This one is a bit of a mystery ... There's no organizational name, it's simply called "North America Indian Native".

If anybody has any info on its origins, please share!
Communaunté Métis autochtone de Maniwaki (Aboriginal Community of Maniwaki), which is based about 150 kms north of Ottawa in Algonquin territory. They're in court right now claiming to have Aboriginal rights. About 30% of their membership have no Indigenous ancestry.
Confederation of Aboriginal People of Canada worked closely with a DNA ancestry testing company to produce new members. you may remember the story about the dogs whose results were 20% "Native American". That was this organization.
This organization is no longer active ... this member joined based on ancestor about 9 generations away in order to resist an eviction notice by a local First Nation council.
Nation autochtone Wenawac du Canada was created by handful of white men who are trying to resist their eviction from public land. The eviction notice came from a local First Nation council and then local municipal authorities. The case is in court now.
Alliance autochtone du Québec (Native Alliance of Quebec) used to represent primarily non-status FN people, but has become a mover & shaker in "Québec Métis" movement. They regularly grant membership to individuals wth no Indigenous ancestry whatsoever, as per court documents.
Ontario Métis and Aboriginal Association - Woodland Métis Tribe now accepts anybody with any Indigenous ancestry at any time. This ensures that white French-descendants are at the forefront of their membership.
Communauté métisse du Domaine du Roy et de la Seigneurie de Mingan is the organization that started as a white rights movement in Innu territory. They accept members with no Indigenous ancestry.
Eastern Woodland Métis Nation Nova Scotia has openly opposed Mi'kmaw sovereignty and self-determination in Mi'kma'ki. It also has a documented record of encouraging its members to use their cards for fraudulent purposes.
Canadian Métis Council - Intertribal is based in NB and Winnipeg. They charge at least $300 per person to complete a genealogy, plus another $150 to become a member. Some families are known to have paid upwards of $2,000 to join under false pretenses.
Syndicat des droits autochtones d'Amérique )America's Native Union) has a spotty record, it's unclear if they're still active. They appear to have been solely invested in selling cards for potential fraudulent financial transactions.
Nation Métis Québec is the first such organization in QC. It has generally opposed the glut of post-Powley (2003) organizations in the province.
St. Francis/Sokoki Band of the Abenaki Nation of Mississquoi. The first "Abenaki tribe" in Vermont, which relies on the same ancestors as the "Québec Métis" and "Acadian-Métis" movement, almost all of whom are not Abenaki, and many of whom aren't even Indigenous.
Nulhegan Band of the Coosuck - Abenaki Nation accepts a range of Indigenous as well as several French women ancestors born prior to 1650. Majority of their leadership has zero Abenaki ancestry, many have zero Indigenous ancestry.
Cowasuck Band Pennacook/Abenaki People are also deeply involved in #raceshifting in New England, turning French women ancestors from 1600s into "Indigenous" women for the purpose of membership.
