(we'll never pay more than 10€ for medication).

Hospital stays: 10€/day BUT CAPPED AT 280€ PER YEAR (we will never pay more than 280€ per year for hospital stays)

Home nursing care: 10% of the costs, BUT CAPPED AT 280€ PER YEAR

House cleaning services: 10% of the costs, but no less than 5€ AND NO MORE THAN 10€ PER DAY (Yes, our healthcare covers housework service for people too ill/injured to do it themselves!)

There are no co-pays for doctor appts, whether general practitioners or specialists. I've never had a co-pay on meds for my kids when they were minors. No co-pays for procedures that are considered medically necessary, including surgeries.

Anyone can have worries about their health or their kids' health, but I never worry about whether we could afford the costs of care should a serious health issue arise. Everyone in the US could have this, too. Don't let anyone tell you it's not possible!
