In Israel years ago I first heard the term "frayer" for "loser, sucker."

Just came upon its origin, rereading The Gulag Archipelago:
I first read "Gulag" in the spring of 1986 when I was supposed to be studying for law school exams. It's a certainly very different experience reading it again today.
It's different because of what we have since learned about the Soviet system; because of its subsequent fall; because a generation has risen in the West that has not been taught about the evils of communism and considers it a romantic dream - and:
... because our present-day Bolsheviks are as never before showing themselves to be made of every bit the same ruthless, godless, limitless arrogance and lust for power and control as those in Russia of a century ago.
What I'll call (apologies to @Cernovich) #BolshevikMindset works in many ways. One is the division of normal people into made up "classes" required to hate and persecute reach other to achieve "social justice."
Here's one almost at random picked up today by @RantyAmyCurtis shown at left, and one of many, many possible corresponding passages from the Gulag at right.
Another one is wrapping not only ignorance but dangerous, venal and vicious ignorance in the mantle of science. Choose from climate cultism, pangenderism - you name it - and here it is in #BolshevikMindset form:
Remember "Trump is guilty of obstruction of justice for 'interfering' with an investigation into a crime that never happened"?

That's #BolshevikMindset too.
How about the charges against @GenFlynn? There's a #BolshevikMindset for that too
I... could go on.
We grow fatigued. For tonight, then, just one more example of how today's political culture dovetails perfectly with the #BolshevikMindset: Denunciation or death!
