This short thread (that I'll likely be adding to soon) is pertaining to the Johnny Depp v Rocky Brooks case. As many of you know, Rocky is currently suing Johnny for allegedly assaulting him on the set of the film "City of Lies".
Rocky, the location manager, alleges that while he was on his way to enforce a permit restriction, Johnny approached him, yelling, punching Rocky twice in the ribs and offered $100,000 for him to punch Johnny in the face.
Thanks to key testimony & time stamped photos from Emma Danoff, the script supervisor (a job requiring an incredible eye for details), we now know Rocky's claims to be nothing more than a hoax.
Johnny was defending a woman (a homeless extra) from Rocky...who was berating the poor woman when Johnny took notice and stepped between them, but never yelled or touched Rocky during their brief interaction.
Recently, Johnny sat for a deposition. Aside from how calmly, sincerely & confidently he answered questions & spoke of the interaction, something else caught my attention.
During his deposition, Johnny was shown a supposed recitation of what was happening on set that evening. He noticed that 15 minutes before his hoax attempt there was a report of a very aggressive Rocky Brooks going after someone else.
This report included the victim of Rocky's aggressive behavior needing to seek help from someone to keep Rocky at bay and try to calm him down. This incident was unrelated to his hoax against Johnny and took place just 15 minutes before.
Twitter has a time limit of just over 2 minutes on videos...so I found a smooth cutting point and split it into 2 parts to be watched in succession.
