All great teams share one thing in common and that’s the need to have a great second unit PG. I’ll give you my top 5 best back up PG’s in the NBA. I’ll breakdown each PG in order. Enjoy this thread. #Yoda
#5 Jalen Brunson- His understanding of the game allows him to create scoring opportunities for himself and others. Jalen is terrific in using angles and changing directions at break neck speed keeping defenders guessing. He plays the PG position like a seasoned vet. #Yoda
#4 Trey Burke- If Philly wants to make a run at a title this year they’re going to need PG bench scoring. Everywhere Trey has played he’s been instant offense. He’s a rhythm scorer with a risk taking style that pays off more times than none. Strap in and enjoy. #Yoda
#3 SGA- A super talented player that has the size to play SG but his instincts are that of a PG. This season in OKC he may start but will still take on the second role PG. Terrific handle, great defender, and finisher. Shai reminds me of Shaun Livingston before the injury. #Yoda
#2 Monte Morris- The smoothest offensive initiator in the NBA. Monte plays the game with exquisite decision making and speed. Fantastic in pick and roll, deadly in open court, and solid knock down shooter. He’s the best “mistake free” player in the NBA. #Yoda
#1 Fred VanVleet- The best change of pace guard in the NBA. Fred plays with a calm confidence that blends perfectly with his yo-yo tight handles and knockdown jumper. Defensively he’s incredible, top level toughness and grit. A NBA champion so put some respect on his name. #Yoda
