You know how I had a squizz yesterday at the councils that were given $1 mill drought assistance last week by @ScottMorrisonMP & found that 12 out of 13 were councils in Coalition seats, the other one was an Independent seat?
Sounded dodgy so I decided to probe further

Well, I decided to check out the entire 123 councils who have received $1 million dollars under the Drought Communities Program Extension

The results are nothing less than SHOCKING

& should demand a Royal Commission into the Morrison Govt drought assistance program

I got my whiteboard out & worked out exactly what councils got what & what seats they're in, then counted them all up

To break it down in terms of seats & how much councils Aust-wide received:

4 Labor seats got $5 mill for 5 councils

3 Independent seats got $6 mill for 6 councils

15 Coalition seats got $112 mill for 112 councils

That's the filthiest pork-barreling I've ever seen

That means NO councils in ANY Labor seat in VIC/ACT/SA or NT got ANY drought assistance funding from @ScottMorrisonMP & the govt.

Those areas are in drought too

This is purely payback for voting Labor to communities being ravaged by drought

No councils in WA got anything at all!

Many councils were in areas that report being unaffected by drought like Yorke Peninusula SA, Eyre Peninsula SA, the electorates of Mayo, Gippsland, Barker & Wannon

We really need this looked into, so bloody wrong.
