the other day when the debate about the “most” intuitive element surfaced on the TL, i decide to reflect a bit. through this reflection it became clear that if all elements are equally
intuitive (which i already knew),
fire signs might be the intuition itself.
explanation :

intuition isn’t something rational, it is something that is FELT.
it is information about something that comes under the form of a feeling.

from this, i decided to observe the four elements of the zodiac.
to interact with them, to be them.

what happens when interacting with water?
we get “wet”, we feel the “wetness”.
but the concept of “wetness” only exists because we are dry. a fish wouldn’t consider itself wet because “wetness” is his natural environment just like dryness is for us.

so once we remove that subjective concept of “wetness”, what is left to be felt in the interaction with water?
we can feel it’s temperature.
the only thing that has a real influence on our experience with water is temperature.

if you bring a flame close to water, the water gon “feel” it, & become warm due to inner agitation (on the molecular level). & you gon feel the warmth of the flame bc the water is warm.

water signs, when they have an intuition, they gon sit with the feeling.

& depending on wether the feeling was “good” or “bad”, it will cause the corresponding inner agitation. they won’t think about it, they just gon align with it & either feel happy or anxious (respectively), just like waters aligns with the temperature of the fire.

what happens when interacting with air?
just like water, we don’t really feel air, unless we, or the air itself, is in a state of agitation (if you roll your arms fast in the air you can feel the air moving. agitation.)

we can’t feel the air in itself, but,

we can feel its temperature.

when you lit a flame, the warmth moves the air, there’s a dispersion. outer dispersion.

air is associated with the mind, & air signs, when they feel an intuition, their mind wanders.

they theorize, on what could be the reason of the intuition they felt. they deal with intuition by reflection.

what happens when interacting with earth?
that’s compact matter.
we feel earth because earth delimits our environment.
a wall, ground, that’s earth.

it can be wet (mud, wet clay, wet sand) or dry (dry ground, dry clay, dry sand, etc).
but we removed the subjective concept of wetness/dryness from the equation a moment ago.

& again, what is left to be felt when interacting with earth, is warmth.

take a piece of wood. bring a flame next to it. at the point of contact between the wood & the flame, after a while, a phenomenon of carbonization can be noticed.

& that’s exactly what happens with earth signs/ earth dom ppl.

when earth signs feel an intuition, they will usually not take it in consideration. they want something TANGIBLE, & until they see the mark of the carbonization that happened, they’ll refuse to acknowledge the veracity of the fire they felt.

so, when interacting with fire,
water boils (inner agitation),
air disperses (outer agitation),
earth burns (carbonization).
earth signs need to see the matter react to fire (carbonization) for their intuition to be valid to them.

so it is evident that all elements of the zodiac are intuitive.

now what about fire?
how does fire react to fire?
combining two flames will create a bigger one.

which means that fire signs..
they are the intuition.

intuition is not really something they feel, intuition is what keeps them moving.
