1. Getting good at copywriting means reaping LIFELONG dividends in terms of money, persuasion, and power. There isn’t a more fundamental skill. Learn copywriting first, then stack complementary skillsets on top.
2. There is no such thing as a silver bullet. They’re not a thing. YOU have to do the WORK. If you’re disappointed by this, then you’re a dopamine addict and should recognize this problem. Only then can you get down to business.

Lead bullets only now...
3. Changing your destiny is about changing your identity. Your current situation is a reflection of your current identity and the stories you accept about yourself. You need to change this story. But first, something even more fundamental. Your STATE β€”>> https://twitter.com/PSPFrench/status/1099256399010369537
4. You need FOCUS

Close your door, actually log out of Twitter, put your phone on mute, off vibrate and turn it upside down. Put on your headphones and some great music and just focus on one task. You’ll experience mental freedom.
5. You need PATIENCE

The #1 Reason People Give Up:

Progress happens too slowly for people to feel; setbacks happen too fast for people to brush off

What you don't need: to be gifted

What you do need: to be stubborn enough to be bad at copywriting long enough to get great
6. The jump from basic copywriter to direct response copywriter can be made with these simple steps: https://twitter.com/PSPFrench/status/1133402767836491776
7. 3 MINDSETS TO INTERNALIZE

- I Don't Have To Be A Great Copywriter To Be A Good Copywriter
- Copywriting Is A Tool To Grow My Business
- Customers Need To Hear What I Have To Say
8. ITERATION is KING.

1st, 2nd, TENTH drafts will all be AWFUL.

Maybe you're getting somewhere at 10.

But 95% of what you write goes straight in the trash.

Get comfortable with the idea that writing is a skill.

Go through the fire. That's how you get to great copy.
9. If you can't think of an idea, think of FIVE

Step away if you are truly stuck. Walk. Drink coffee. Have a shower. Workout. Have sex. Microdose. Leave yourself a breadcrumb to go back to. Maybe write one sentence, one headline, then bounce. Scope down. Progress is progress.
10. Create a Customer Desire Map

Shows you where your customers are, where they want to be, and what’s in their way.

πŸ˜ƒHopes and Dreams
πŸ™€Pains & Fears
πŸ˜•Barriers and Uncertainties
11. Beginners don't need to read lots of copywriting books and definitely don't need to buy a course.

I know, because I've done both over the years.

They all boil down to the same bones.

You can get started with JUST @ROGUEWEALTH's 3 jpegs here

11. You need HONESTY

Self-evaluate

But there's a conundrum - if you admit it's not great, you have to do it again

So you have to get somebody you know to read your copy

Do they make it from line 1 to 2?

Watch their facial expressions

People who are engaged will tell you.
12. You need to be a STUDENT

When you study other copywriters, you’re studying THEIR STUDY OF MARKETS.

So become a student of MARKETS. Who are they? What do they want? What emotions, images, logic, and promises can you use to speak to them?
13. Whatever you do, don't be BORING

As my man @PaulieCiceroG puts it, "Being boring is the only cardinal sin in marketing." https://twitter.com/PSPFrench/status/1147146941337415683
