Developmental psychologists have known for a long time that young children have very concrete, literal, & sometimes incorrect notions about sex & gender. Now gender therapists tell us even toddlers have an innate gender ID, and they are never wrong.
45 seconds (length of this vid) is all you need. Now imagine you're a gender-atypical child. How "consistent, insistent, & persistent" might you be in claiming you are actually the opposite sex--ESPECIALLY if your gender atypicality is met w/ disapproval (or even just confusion)?
Next, imagine you've been "socially transitioned" from age 2, everyone calling you the opposite-sex pronoun and agreeing that yes, you really ARE what you say. What are the odds you'd reverse course, when the adults around you (who you look to for guidance) endorse #wrongbodyism?
Don't miss the third segment with the little child "Jesse" is you don't believe little kids equate sex with gender stereotypes.

Double dog dare anyone to watch these videos and then make the case for "social transition" of young gender-atypical children.
