Thread on Importance of Desi Cow Breeds
1/n Indian (Desi) cows is the only species of cow on the planet which has a hump on its back.
The hump has a specific vein called Surya Ketu Nadi (nadis are channels in the etheric body), which absorbs the energy from the sun and moon.
2/n The solar rays produce salts in her blood and are present in the products produced (e.g. milk, ghee, curd, butter), thus giving its golden hue. Other cow by-products (dung, urine) have medicinal benefits as well acting as naturally producing manure, pesticide and insecticide.
3/n Indian (Desi) Cow Urine contains moderate levels of nitrogen (N2) — effect on chemical diseases, calcium (Ca) — blood purifier and germicidal, potassium (K) — cures hereditary rheumatism and removes muscular weakness, magnesium, phosphate (P)
4/n — helps in removing stones urinary track, fluoride (F), urea (H2NCONH2) removes blood abnormalities and toxins, natural stimulant of urinary track and is diuretic,
5/n ammonia (NH3), Copper (Cu) — controls build up of unwanted fats, Hydroxide (AuOH) — germicidal and increases immunity power, it highly antibiotic and anti-toxic, etc.
6/n Indian Cow Dung has a natural disinfecting effect and reduces pathogenic bacteria. It is a natural anti-septic, anti-radioactive and anti-thermal properties.
7/n Indian Cow Milk has amino acids which makes its proteins easier to digest. Is a rich source of B2, B3, A vitamins which helps immunity. It helps in reducing serum cholesterol. It is one of the best natural anti-oxidants. The highly rich calcium helps protect cells.
8/n Indian Cow Milk also contains Riboflavin (vitamin B12) and Vitamin B2 which are functional in the production of energy and cardiovascular protection. Also contains iodine in rich quantity which is an integral component of thyroid hormones.
9/n ndian Cow milk naturally produces the a2 Protein only, whereas the Jersey cow produces a1 protein which gets broken down into peptides but also creates a new peptide called BCM7 (Beta Caso — Morphine 7).
10/n BCM7 (Beta Caso — Morphine 7) cannot be broken down by the body and is the cause of many diseases, as it is an exogenous opioid which does not occur naturally within the human body and interacts with human digestive system, internal organs and brain system.
11/n Zoologically also The Indian cow is Bos Indicus while Jerseys and Holstein are Bos Taurus. These European cows give more yield ( more litres of milk per day) Hence they are preferred by dairy farms
However, they can be bred for limited number of lactation cycles
12/n After its lactation cycles are done with the cow loses all commercial value and most dairy farmers give off their cows to slaughter houses.

We all know that cow slaughter is one of the highest contributors to global warming
13/n In comparison, the Indian Cow does not lose its value. In addition to being able to give milk for more lactation cycles, even after that the urine and cow dung provides a good value to the farmer
14/n Even maintenance wise IndianCows are easier to manage. In most part of India, Jersey cows find it very warm for comfort and in order to get optimum yield, dairy farmers need to use cold air sprays to keep the environment comfortable for the cows
15/n This is if we look at stand alone Dairy Farms. If we look at traditional Indian agricultural ecosystem, Cows are its integral part.

Cow Dung is used to create manure like Amrit Jal and Amrit Mitti that enhances the soil with necessary nutrients
16/n These natural fertilisers keep the natural nutrients of the soil intact as compared to chemical fertilizers like urea that give instant increase in produce but over a period the soil loses its characteristics

In addition the taste of the produce is far richer
17/n And yes Cow Dung is generated by the cow till its natural death. and hence it almost eliminates the need for Slaughter

So Ecologically there are numerous benefits

Soil Nutrient Retention
Safer Food
Less Carbon Foot print and many more
18/n Again on Cow slaughter, the red meat that is obtained is having saturated fats and is not at all healthy

Why do we need to slaughter Cows for our food

Its obvious that we gain much more by keeping the Cow live than by killing it. This is specially true for Desi Breeds
19/n Lets do this for our future generations

Lets do this for Mother Earth

Lets do this for ourselves
