The weather in #Morpeth is horrible today, but at least the flowers all over the town - both inside and outside the @SandersonArcade shopping centre - are as vibrant and cheerful as ever.
And there's an interesting ghost sign newly exposed in #Morpeth where the Local Boots used to be. This was an obvious candidate for closure given that there is a full Boots store just metres away in Bridge Street. #ghostsigns
And the new #Morpeth @peacocks has opened since I was last here. This unit was most recently The Original Factory Shop (one of the branches closed in the CVA), and before that M&S Simply Food (relocated), and Iceland (made way for M&S, then came back in the old Woolworths nearby)
Meanwhile, Bodycare is opening a new store in one of the few vacant prime units - formerly Dorothy Perkins. #morpeth
